Ordered carne asada nachos and a carne asada burrito and what a disappointment they were!! The meat was so cold that it didn't even melt the cheese 🤢. I called and asked if that was normal practice for the cheese to not be melted and the girl stated it has always been that way. My mom's asada burrito was also cold. Upon picking up my phone order the girl had the food at the till and not under he heat lamp which would make sense as to why the food was cold. I had to make a detour back home to put the food in the microwave and it tasted so gross. The chips became soggy and the guac and sour cream were now hot. I just ended up tossing all the food. $28 down the drain and still had to figure out what to do for lunch. The counter girl was really nice that's why I scored her the way I did.

The food here is not good. I'm not sure what it is, because the other location (across from Walmart) has great food. It somehow tastes different and they don't use the same proportions of ingredients. On top of that, they get the order wrong more than half the time. I don't know if it's the absent-minded-looking cook or the bubble-headed high-school-wanna-be-beauty-queens they have at the front counter but it's just not a good experience. And when you call them on their mistakes, they could care less. Literally, they have absolutely no interest or remorse that they do their job so poorly. Do yourself a favor and go to the other location; you'll be much happier with your food.

This place has changed alot! Is no long good like it used to be the quality is just horrible. Order chicken burrito with beans and rice it was all mush and burrito falling apart, some carnitas tacos they bland no flavor or crisp. The roll tacos (taquitos) were ok and 2 drinks it was 50 bucks . And the price have gone up . The guy taking the order was some what nice. But they didn't not seem to want to be there blasting music and just hanging out someone just walked in and walked to the back made some food and left. Waste of money

I’ve been going to el mariachi since I went to high school down the street at Beaumont high over 10 years ago. It was really good then and years later when I went back it’s STILL AMAZING. I’m so picky about my Mexican food and I used to only get the breakfast burritos when I was a teenager but now that I’m older I’ve ventured into some of their other stuff. The chilaquiles is the best I e ever had and that’s one of my favorite things to order from Mexican places so I’ve had a lot haha. The tacos (especially al pastor 😍💕❤️) are sooo good and the rice chefs kiss 😙 I normally don’t order rice anywhere, often times it’s bland or crunchy or absolute mush with no flavor but there’s is very good. Me and my husband live in COLTON and some days will drive all the way out there just to get breakfast! I still love this place all these years later and probably even more so now! My husband said we have to move to Beaumont just because of this place...

I've been trying to contact the owner but the staff blocks my attempts. Without grossing out anyone reading this, all I can say is think twice about eating here. The cooks [there was 2 at the time] did the unthinkable , I don't even want to post it. I just need to speak with the owner of the restaurant , not the family staff. Just to add, I have eaten here numerous times, always happy......this particular time, I am trying not to be sick while writing this. I will continue to tell anyone who mentions this place to ALWAYS choose another place to eat. I have never been so disgusted and WILL NEVER allow those cooks to be entertained with their disgusting behavior . They should be fired immediately . If I am not contacted by the owner, I will take other methods of notifying them. DO NOT EAT HERE! The only reason there is even 1 star-there should be none- is because it would not let me post without one! P.S. Health...

A friend took me to El Mariachi Taco Shop #1 recently for lunch. Delicious,quick,great choices,friendly servers-whats not to like?! We had their California Burrito 🌯 and it was de-lish! Fresh tasting,not salty or greasy! Tender carne asada,rice,potatoes,frijoles(refried pinto beans)cilantro,tomatoes,salsa-yumm! They have a tasty salsa bar with home made salsas and have a large menu. Casual eating environment-they have a sparkling clean dining area for eat in or take it to go! (Sorry gang I forgot to take photos-we were so hungry from work that day we tore these super tasty burritos up and got 'em in our bellys! But as Arnold says "I'LL BE BACH" and have delicious pix for you!)
