
I was not impressed with my experience here. I saw Lauren, who on her own I’d give 3.5 stars, even with how everything played out. However, since she’s a junior stylist, it felt like the owner was always aggressively jumping in. She cut my hair blindly without asking how short I wanted it, she painted the back of my entire neck with dark dye, and simply stated “I’m pretty heavy handed”. I spent five hours there the first day to get a vibrant ginger color. Before I even left the salon, I expressed that I was disappointed that the color wasn’t quite what I wanted. They then tried to convince me that it was almost the color I wanted. But then another stylist said “we just don’t do colors like that here”. I had previously texted pictures with the owner and my stylist about the color I wanted, neither of them had said it wasn’t achievable or that they didn’t have that color. Lauren scheduled me to come back the next morning and she’d get the color I wanted. I didn’t expect to have to pay half of what I spent the first day to get the color I ORIGINALLY wanted to leave with. To top it off, as I checked out I was told it would be a “waste of money” to spend so much on the color I wanted and not buy their products. I wanted to go blonde and told them that I understood that it’s a process and it’s not going to happen in one session. First session (which was over $500 dollars) she damaged my hair to the point that my hair in the back was snapping off (and it wasn’t anywhere near blonde either). I came back asking what they could do and if I could get a refund. They said they could only refund me $150 as they had spent a lot of time on my hair and I should have know the risk (even though they didn’t tell me the “risk” when they took my money). They had to chop my hair to my chin and said I could come back in 3 months so that they can bleach it again. To which I will get to pay them another $160 dollars (so there goes my refund). Read moreI did love this place, I had been going for 2 years driving from Cincinnati to Beavercreek to have my hair styled. But then I unexpectedly missed an appointment & found out there is a 100% charge for a missed appointment. I'm not against a cancellation fee, they booked that time but 100% of the service!! $200.00 fee for a missed appointment & I wasn't even notified of this. They didn't give me a courtesy heads up I just had to find this erroneous charge on my credit card statement weeks later. NOT good business. I will never go back now! Life happens sometimes.
