As a former resident of Beavercreek, Ohio, I've had the pleasure of witnessing the transformation of many establishments over the years. One such transformation that has particularly impressed me is the metamorphosis of the old Fryes’ Soccer Shoppe on Dayton-Xenia Road into the thriving pizzeria known as Beavercreek Pizza Dive. (I use to live above Fryes’ Soccer Shoppe and manage it for a short time)

My recent visit to Beavercreek Pizza Dive was an absolute delight, starting from the moment I stepped through the door. The atmosphere and tantalizing aroma of freshly baked pizza immediately set the stage for an exceptional dining experience.

What truly struck me, however, was the exceptional customer service I received from Ally, the young lady who took my order. Her warm smile, genuine enthusiasm, and attentiveness to my requests were genuinely refreshing. Ally's demeanor exuded a passion for her job and a genuine desire to ensure patron satisfaction.

When the pizza arrived, I was greeted by a culinary masterpiece. The crust was perfectly crisp, the sauce was tangy and flavorful, and the toppings were generously distributed and bursting with freshness. Each bite was an explosion of flavors that left me wanting more.

I must commend Cole, the pizzaiolo behind my culinary masterpiece. His expertise and passion for pizza were evident in every bite. The combination of fresh ingredients, skillful preparation, and Cole's culinary prowess resulted in a pizza experience that far surpassed my expectations.

Beavercreek Pizza Dive is more than just a pizzeria; it's a testament to the power of transformation and the enduring spirit of a community. From its humble beginnings as a soccer shop to its current incarnation as a pizza haven, Beavercreek Pizza Dive continues to serve the community with passion, flavor, and exceptional...

TLDR; Staff and owners are pro-active and very fair when dealing with situations encountered, even after the fact. However, I still think ordering ahead/online or being aware that some orders may take a little while is advisable.

Update: The owners followed up below AND via email (square receipt). Evidently the person working the register proactively refunded the entire check after I left. The issue was apparently due to how long the line was, though this is not the first time I've had an extended wait. A full refund goes above and beyond in this situation though. I even admitted in my review that I should have spoken up sooner and that was my fault. A FULL refund was not required by any stretch of the imagination, but is welcomed.

I will use the refunded money here again. Though for me, I will order ahead from now on. Additionally, it may be worth having order takers let people know items like sandwiches may take longer than expected.

-------------------original review below------------------------ The food is good, when you can get it. I recommend you call ahead or order online whenever you can, especially if a sandwich is ordered. I went at lunch today and got two slices, a sandwich, and a drink. I got the receipt via email at 11:57 am. I had the two slices warmed up about 5 minutes later. Almost 20 minutes later I had to choose whether to wait an additional 5 minutes for the sandwich or getting in trouble at work for being late. I had to "eat" the cost of the sandwich too since there wasn't time to get a refund. That part is my fault though for not asking sooner. But 20+ minutes and STILL no sandwich is pretty ridiculous.

If they had told me it would be that long, I would not have ordered it. The slices were already cooked and out....just needed warmed up. By the time I left they were cold again. But they still...

This place. I can’t even begin to tell you how awesome Pizza Dive’s pizza is. First off, we discovered this gem during Covid so it holds special meaning to begin with. We would enjoy a nice drive here from C’bus, order a pizza and eat it in our car. The service then was exceptional! Plates, napkins, utensils and unbelievable pizza delivered to our car!

Fast forward a few years—had never been inside this place. Greeted by Cole—he went above and beyond from the first minute we walked in here. Told us some of the backstory of this place, gave us complimentary bread bites with their yummy sauce. Pizza came and it was even better than 2020!!! How can that be? We are a couple rooted (originally) from Long Island, NY and the pizza was better here than in NY!!! Cole checked on us, brought us a box. Handled the many customers who walked in with a friendliness you don’t get in NY! Well worth the 1hr 15min drive! Can we interest you, the owners, in opening a place in the Polaris area?!? We’ll get customers in the door, you’ve got them once they’re there!!! :)

Pizza has the “foldability” and “slime” under the cheese that is 💯 NY pizza!!! Thanks for giving us a memory of our home!!!

I want to edit this review. We came here 2/15 and dined in. A group of high school young gentleman came in and ordered individual pizzas, which all looked so unbelievably good. A guy, COLE, set them up with the Nintendo Switch they could play while waiting for their pizza! How awesome is that? This place had every seat taken and he still manage to come to every table to see if they needed anything! WE LOVE THIS PLACE—might have to move to Beavercreek to be...

I would like to start by saying that I visited this place over a year ago. I walked in paid for my food and sat down to eat and got a phone call from home that we had had a theft. Needless to say I had left the establishment and did not get a chance to eat. I promised myself I would return when I came back to Dayton and today is that day. I actually stopped yesterday but they didn't have the buffet available so I came back today instead from the advice of Ally who told me the buffet would be Wednesday. I arrived to find a lively atmosphere of all ages and a buffet being served with a fundraiser for a robotics club. What a spectacular partnership with the community this place has! As if the fundraiser wasn't good enough the food is actually spectacular! When I paid the friendly staff asked me if there was anything I wanted to let them know because they make custom pizzas if they have the ingredients. Well after slices of supreme, Greek, mac and cheese, and cheeseburger I asked them to make a buffalo ranch chicken bacon pizza. My favorite and they did not disappoint! seriously if you get a chance to go here I don't know that I've ever been to a place that appears to be more connected to their local community and have an atmosphere that just brings smiles across the entire restaurant! Kudos to them for running a great place great food!
