These people called me over and over again trying to reach someone that had purchased a refrigerator from them. I explained that I didnât know this person, although I did have the same last name as the person that they were looking for. The phone calls kept coming and each time I would tell them that they had the wrong number and to please stop calling. I finally started calling them back one morning asking for a random person that didnât work there and when they would tell me that he didnât work there I would say thank you and say that I would try again later. On the third phone call the manager Scott answered and was very rude. He told me that no one worked there by that name and I told him that I would call back. He said maâam you are calling the wrong business. Thatâs when I laughed and let him in on the fact that I wasnât really looking for the person I was asking for. He became angry and had some issues with his temper. Apparently he doesnât like being the butt end of a joke. I havenât bought anything from rent-a-center nor do I plan to, but if you are considering it, I would most definitely go to another location. It is obvious that if a real situation or problem would occur that this manager is not equipped with the skills mentally or emotionally to deal appropriately with customers.
