KFC — Restaurant in Beckley

The server we had was the most cheerful person I ever seen. He greeted us with a smile. He was very nice, talkative. He complimented my parents. Which I found awesome.

The food on the other hand. Which wasn't his fault. It is whomever was cooking. My mom had chicken liver dinner that day. All was good until she found a hair in the bread of the chicken liver. She was done eating then. Myself, I got a 3 piece chicken strip dinner. It started out ok. Until I hit all fat into my third strip. My biscuit wasn't done. They never are. My dad's second breast wasn't done. His first piece was. The food was awful. But it wasn't the server's fault.

KFC needs either better quality chicken like they used to have and / or cooks. Probably both, I think. This used to be my favorite place to go eat. Not anymore. What we paid for the food here we could have gone to the steak house. Since I eat a kids...

So disappointed. I waited in the car line for over 40 minutes. When I ordered I asked to substitute mashed potatoes for the fries which they agreed. When I got to the pickup window they tried to give me the wrong order. Then when they gave me my order and I pulled around, it was fries. Had to pull around and walk in the front to get my mashed potatoes. The food was good but what I am upset about was the masks. They all had on masks, but not one nose was covered and most of the masks were pulled below their chins. NOT ONE HAD ON A MASK PROPERLY!! They were breathing and talking over the food I was about to eat. When I asked the young man working the front counter why no one had on the masks properly, he said "Oh we don't have to do that". Covid-19 is a killer. Wearing a mask is a sign of respect for others. In town for several weeks but will not be going...

We went thru the drive thru. Ordered two chicken sandwich meals with fries. We waited 10+ minutes on the fries but were glad to get them fresh. The chicken sandwich was delicious but the menu makes it out to be huge. Its disappointingly small. The staff was complaining about orders coming in. One girl was cussing about someone ordering a 16 piece. The floor in the kitchen made us talk about never going back. Its red checkered and had smashed fries, chicken and other foods and dirt smashed in the cracks. Only good thing was the food but seeing the condition of the kitchen along with the staff being so negative really turns me away. Alot less likely for people to contaminate your food if they...
