Gill-Roy's Hardware/ Stihl- Lambertville Hardware — Local services in Bedford Township

Your guys prices are absolutely out of line. I don't know who is setting the prices but wake up. I've spent over $500 at Lowe's in the last week that could've been your business had your prices not been completely insane you have actually priced yourself out of the market .Please explain how is your spray paint double the price of other stores? And also, what's up with the 20 or something baby boomer employees all just standing around talking not working? Not one of them greeted me nor asked me if I needed assistance they all just stood amongst themselves gossiping. This has gotta be the worst hardware store I've ever been to. Save your time and money by even going to a store like Lowe's or Home Depot. Damn shame that this is what a neighborhood hardware store has turned into, a money grab and a paycheck for old people that don't want to work.

EDIT: all for having so many experienced employees they didn't seem eager to help or greet anyone in the store I've gone back to the store for a few nuts and bolts after my first review and it's the same thing a bunch of aimless old people standing all over doing absolutely nothing. I love this little hardware store! They are always so friendly and always asking if they can help. Most of the staff are very helpful (I've had one person there treat me like a "girl" and talk down to me). HOWEVER, every other person that I have ever spoken to has been extremely friendly and helped me find what I needed. I love being able to just run up the road to get what I need instead of taking a trip to Lowe's or Home Depot. When I was trying to make a repair in my bathroom, the gentleman who helped me listened to what my problem was before speaking and found the parts I needed right away. I absolutely love this place. Every single member of the staff welcoming and friendly to me and my dog. I will never go to a Lowe’s or Home Depot or especially Menards if I never have to again. Not only is the store selection ten times better, but it is always actually stocked and organized. In addition to that one employee at do it best is worth ten at the other stores. They ACTUALLY know their products and offer advice that is worth hours of googling. Today they saved me as I almost ruined the wood on my sailboat but their knowledgeable staff saved me from a fatal error for my teak.
