This was my second visit to this fine establishment, and my first on the range. I arrived with a friend (he has a paid membership) at 10 am when they opened. The staff was friendly and ready to assist. There wasn't any waiting, no "hold on I just got here myself..." you may see in other retail establishments. As a guest of the member, there was a waiver to sign and the obligatory email exchange, but that was expected. They held my driver license behind the counter, again, expected. We were assigned a lane based on caliber we brought to shoot (rental firearms are available as well). The lanes are modern and clean, equipped brooms and pans to police up your brass. Speaking of brass... depending on where/velocity of your firearms' ejection, hot brass may bounce off the divider onto the person firing. If your new to range operations, wear a button up collar (buttoned at the collar) to reduce the chance of hotbrass down the shirt. For real, it's a safety concern, and even a veteran shooter can get distracted. A lapse in muzzle discipline can be deadly. There is even a wash sink to clean up after your finished shooting. The sales floor has everything 2A you may need from parts, ammo, accessories, and of course... guns! The staff is composed of both male and female personnel who are patient and most important, knowledgeable with the products. Not at all intimidating, so bring the missus (or mister, ladies) if their the least bit curious. I consider the range membership reasonably priced depending on your level of seriousness in the sport. There are short term/teaser options that would make great stocking stuffers as well. As a long time shooter I highly recommend a visit for anyone new to the sport. As well, if you lost a safety selector spring finishing up that last project, odds are they're prepared to help you out. No...

I want to thank the team at Survival Trail for taking the time to work with me and find a solution ā and for doing it so quickly. After my initial experience, I had left a critical review. However, they personally followed up with me, clarified everything with the ATF, and offered a very fair compromise. Out of the $500 deposit, $100 went toward the restocking fee, and the remaining $400 is now being applied to my new firearm purchase. Everything was handled with professionalism and speed, and I genuinely appreciate that kind of service. Based on how this was resolved, I can only recommend this store to others. Looking forward to picking up my new Ruger soon ā thanks again!
I had a disappointing experience with this store. I previously purchased a Sig Sauer pistol here and had a good impression back then. Thatās why I came back to place another order ā this time for a rifle, leaving a $500 deposit. Later, I decided to switch to a different model ā not to cancel the order, but to buy another firearm from the same store, one that was in stock and ready. Unfortunately, since my background check had already been approved, I was told the order could no longer be changed and that my deposit was non-refundable because it was a āspecial order.ā I understand there may be policies and supplier restrictions ā but I would have appreciated some flexibility or at least a discount toward the new purchase. Instead, I was simply told āthank you, but no.ā After this experience, I honestly donāt know if Iāll want to buy anything else here in the future. It left me feeling like a returning customer wasnāt valued. Just a heads-up to others: make sure youāre 100% sure before placing a deposit ā because once you commit, thereās...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy First time there. After the preliminary check, we were assigned a lane. Safety is foremost, as you must bring in all firearms into the store, in cases. Before you enter the range, you must be using noise suppressing ear protection and eye protection. And at all times, keep your firearm pointing downrange, even when loading, racking, waiting for a misfire and clearing the gun for storage. Never leave with a loaded firearm. If you haven't used a firearm before, ask for assistance.
You enter one of the two, ranges through two sets of doors to reduce noise from leaving the range. I recall each section having 6-8 lanes, each (I'll stand corrected if my count was off). The area behind the firing line is clean of shells and debris. Shooters are responsible to remove brass from the floor around their lane, using floor squeegees and collection pans that are supplied. The desk at each lane has ample above and below storage. There's enough room on top, if you want to adjust your sights using a support or bags. You might need a stool.
The targets are positioned by the lane user, using a motorized Target Retrieval System. Targets can be positioned in five yard increments, through twenty five yards. Each five yard position is clearly marked. The targets can be retrieved right up to the lane desk. Bring a scope to help see distant targets.
They offer ammunition and targets, if needed during your stay. A payment tab is kept until you are ready to leave. They also have a large selection of firearms to rent, if you wish to try a new firearm before buying.
The range is located along Easton road, north of Plumbsteadville, away from crowded areas. Lots of parking. A full retail area for all...
