My wife and I have looked at many different ZTRs as, due to her disability, she can't operate a tractor-type mower but can actually operate a ZTR, and she enjoys it very much. We look for ease of access for her to transfer out of her wheelchair to the mower and also how dependent the mower operation is on foot pedals. We looked around at several different manufacturers and even some online. We had rented a mower from Bull Creek Outdoors a couple of years ago and had it on our list to look. When we pulled in a started looking around at what would possibly work for her, a salesman came over. We described what we were looking for and what mods we would have do for her to get on and off. The salesman offered that they had an on-site fabrication shop and could probably fab something for her. He called the owner over and we ended up discussing what she might need and what they could do. He watched my wife transfer to the mower and took measurements, and told us he could put something together. Several days later they called us for some final measurements, and when we got there we were completely blown away by what they had fabricated. It was exactly what we had discussed.

We were so impressed that a company would take time to consider modifying a mower for a disabled person, let alone produce such fantastic and professional results....

The folks at Bull Creek are amazing people. My wife and I stopped by to window shop after hours one day this week and William just happened to be working late on a boat. He approached me asking if I needed help even though it was way after business hours. He went out of his way to help me with the purchase on a day they’re normally closed. He suggested things about the mower I purchased that would keep me from having to bring the mower back early for maintenance. I already had read some reviews on ongoing issues with Spartan mowers and the upgrades he mentioned, so I knew he was being honest with me which only builds a great amount of trust in this company. He wants the customer to enjoy their equipment at home versus in his repair shop.
