I had lunch at the new restaurant which had it's "soft" opening. I'm on crutches and was left standing in the entry while the seating chart was consulted. There were only a couple of tables of people so seating me should have been a no brainer. And then it was decided to seat me towards the back. I chalked it up to the young lady being new to being a server/host. The food was decent. I got the cheeseburger. The home fries weren't quite done all the way in my opinion. The portions were just barely average. The location being basically in the golf pro shop it's not great for people with mobility issues. The parking lot is rough and I can see it being hard to navigate for someone in a wheelchair. The two entry doors are heavy. I really wanted to say this was a great experience because I think Bella Vista needs another reasonably priced place to dine. I am sure things will get better as they have only been open...
Read moreI walked this course daily all summer in 2018, recovering from three strokes. It's a great course, with groundskeepers worth thanking, when you see them. The clubhouse, with its golf shop (pricey!) and Mike's Place restaurant (always great & low priced, too. Tell Mike your thoughts, and tip tp ladies big! Tell 'em Reed sent you!) are right there. Plenty of parking, & the pool, tennis courts, and park are up above, for the non-golfers. If you're walking, remember to give the golfers wide latitude.
