I love Illume. Susan was such a delightful person & helped me to find to outfits that were really me. She took the time to get to know me with a friendly phone consultation when I made my appointment. Then when I arrived she promptly thanked me for arriving on time & again asked me questions about myself to familiarize herself with the Real Me!!! This really helped her to find Magical Magnolia Pearl pieces that really made me feel special, from her VAST Collection!!! Plus it was so fun to peruse her wonderful shop!!!! She styled me in clothing that was delightfully “me” and I have loved wearing these pieces several times since I bought them days ago. They inter-change wonderfully with each other and my other clothing because they “are me”! Thanks so much Susan! I can’t wait to come back to visit you...

Today I had the pleasure of shopping at Illume and adding to my favorite clothing line. Susan suggested a top that I passed over thinking it was a similar color to one at home. It was not at all!! She showed me ways to wear it, and suggested bottoms to go with. I occasionally call her for advice about if something goes together. Her best remark was “No, turn it inside out.” Have been wearing it that way ever since. I almost always ask her to ‘make this an outfit.’ She does, with one-of-a-kind vintage jewelry, silk and beaded tie on collars worn as jewelry, a beautiful purse, a layering garment or a flowing kimono, even cute socks. Strip mall multiple shops. Have been to and purchased from this store several times before Covid. Went there today the door was open, no visible sign stating that appointments were necessary ( because the door was open and the sign was on the front of the door) walked in and was told by the proprietor , I assume, that she had an appointment and I was not welcome to shop and she suggested I make an appointment. Felt like I was kicked out. Lock your door if you don’t want shoppers, you haven’t required appointments in the past so if you do now don’t hide the sign and leave your door open. One can purchase what you have on line from the designers as well as other retailers too bad I thought you had a nice selection won’t be back...
