Tahoe sent in 3 X's for not starting. 1st time alternator replaced, 2nd time fuel pump replaced, 3rd time was told it needed a new spider injector, which was provided to them at their approval, and after waiting 3 1/2 hrs, only the fuel pressure switch was replaced. Nobody, including Mr. Clifford (Owner) never stepped into the office to explain what was going on. Was told the truck had to be left overnight, after the third service did not work. They had it overnight from the 1st tow. 2nd tow from Daytona, was planning on leaving it, but they said they were going to get right on it. Went back after the fuel pump and was told it needed a spider injector. OK , now is when you feel completely jack around in circles. To conclude it all, customer was screamed at on the phone by a mechanic. Obviously a customer is not suppose to be angry about paying for the very same problem continuously. Was told to go back to the mechanic, that honestly said he did not have diagnostic equipment, and was hung up on by the hot headed mechanic tow truck driver at Clifford's that stated tow drivers are not mechanics. Is that an OXY MORAN? That mechanic is a tow truck...
Read moreToday (a holiday!), I had the good fortunate to experience great customer service and honest humanity at it's best with Clifford's. I needed to get belongings from a vehicle they towed after an accident and were storing on their property. Already stressed and with so many details to work through, these guys nailed caring local family owned service and made one huge hurdle way easy to maneuver! I called and was given instructions on how to do everything. We were met at the gate, allowed to drive back to the vehicle to get belongings from it and even had help with the bigger/heavier stuff, which is above and beyond these days! We asked questions and had everything explained to get the vehicle out. We called AAA and set up to have the driver meet us at Clifford's, then we brought the payment and met 2 very nice guys who helped the other wrecker driver load up and were just nice as can be! We interrupted their holiday 2 times and got nothing but great service and smiles!!! I am happy to see that good business is not a way of the past! Hats off to a great family run business with good hearts!!!! ...
Read morePaid for service that never was completed. Took car in to get brakes fixed and instructed them to give me a call once they find out what work needs to be done. I get a phone call three hours later saying work has been done on my car and more work needs to be done which will cost me $800. I specifically said call me before any work is done on the car, three times to the Owner. When I went back in to see what was done to my car, they replaced a part without my consent and charged me to take the piece off that I did not agree to pay for. I paid $95 for a waste of time. Waste of time on my end and the workers’ end. The worker at the front even admitted to the wrongdoing but still charged me for the labor. My car was never fixed the way I wanted and the business got away with my money. Does anyone else have $95 to throw away? Go to Clifford’s and speak...
