loyal customer for over 4 years. Never had an issue with products or staff until today. unfortunately we purchased 1 bale of tifton horse hay only to find it riddled with rat feces and urine upon arrival at my farm. no big deal, right? just return the hay and bring it to the attention of management. well thats just what i did. I spoke directly to Terra who offered no apologies or a solution to the problem. when i explained to Terra the concerns of a farmer feeding rat urine and feces infested hay to horses and the deadly effects it can have on Equine she took offense and rudely told me , if i don't like it to find somewhere else to buy my hay. Overall summerfield sales carry quality products however i would not recommend supporting this local farm store due to its staff not having the courtesy and respect for regular customers and farmers who have been in support. Thankfully i contacted Kenny over at Knights feed in bushnell and related my awful experience from summerfield sales. Kenny was both apologetic and apalled and immediately offered a solution. We’ve been using Summerfield Feed for over a years and while some staff is super friendly others are not. Recently had an issue with a bag of feed that was molded and had been using it. My mom took it back for me and left in tears due to the way sue was treated. She had to go back a second time and the service was worse as she felt accused of doing something wrong and was made to feel like she was a bother because she needed to buy a new bag of feed. She wasn’t expecting it comp’ed and Tara made her feel horribly guilty by telling her she was going to do it BUT she would t be reimbursed plus made her feel like a bother because she needed help lifting the bag in the truck. My mom offered to pay and was not exiting it free we just needed to feed our horse! My mom now refuses to buy anything here, I gave 2 stars since Tasha was always so friendly and the new girl while she didn’t help put my 2 bags of feed in truck I did was at least...

Hands down the best feed store I have ever had the privilege of going to. They have top quality feed for all species, a wonderful selection of products, their hay never disappoints me-always so green and fresh, a beautiful set up that's very spacious, homemade bath bombs, jams and sauces. The owner, employees, and service are absolutely wonderful. Always so helpful, assistance on any needs, great recommendations and guidance if needed. They are definitely a family atmosphere and it gives me great joy to support a local business!! I highly recommend you stopping in and checking it out for yourself, I promise you will always go back and not need any other feed store.
