My disabled mother was visiting us and wanted to see another waterfall before she flew home. Snoqualmie is definitely the most accessible waterfall that weโve found but this would be second place! The falls are 0.3 miles into the woods, the path is gravel, and there is a bench to sit on when you get there.
My mother uses a walking stick, and she rated it a 7/10 difficultly, mostly because the way out was uphill. There are some steeper moments! obviously not suitable for wheelchair users, but for those in between, or the older community, they certainly should give this a try.
Worth noting the awesome cave on the way, and there is a fence between you and the falls but a dip in the ground where people obviously make their way down to it. Very sweet waterfall, my mother...
ย ย ย Read moreA nice quiet trail leading to the Falls from the carpark down to the falls about 0.5 miles away. Lined with moss covered trees and a gravel footpath. With the exception of the odd squirrel scurrying up or down the trees, no other wildlife seen.
Some seating area of log benches by the small waterfall, it may be a little larger and more flow after some rain.
Air was fresh and information boards along the trail about the history of Coal Creek.
