What should have been a simple return and likely purchase of a replacement item turned into a three month ordeal where the tool responsible for this company decided to fabricate reasons to avoid taking his misrepresented product back. The product was advertised as a non-subscription model gate opener. Upon set up, we realized it required a subscription. There was a cheaper and better (imo) subscription opener that they were selling as well. I advised the seller and was immediately called by some dude that’s clearly got little man syndrome being combative about the return. I ended up having to go through PayPal to get my money back and threatened suit. After three months, this is the email I get from the guy. Avoid them at all costs and honestly, just got through Amazon. Atleast then, you are guaranteed some basic consumer protections. Also, glad to see Google removed all the fake review this company bought. Trust pilot...

I ordered driveway include pedestrian gates from Affordable Openers site. Even though I had bad customer service experience; called to make sure the items will get me on time, 6 to 10 days free shipping. Surprisingly I receive a phone call from a stranger asking me to come pick up one of the gate that is been ordered under. In return I raise my question and complain that the free shipping should be delver to my door. The end I find out the caller is a customer that had hard time the return unwanted gate; and the company, Affordable Openers, provides my name and phone number without my consent.

My Platinum swing gate opener malfunctioned and refused to work after 5 years. The main circuit board needed replacement. I checked around and found Affordable Openers has the circuit board in stock. I placed order online at 10am for local pickup. Chris called at 12:30pm saying that the circuit board was ready for pickup. By 2pm, I had the replacement circuit board in my hand. By 4:45pm, it was installed and the gate opener worked perfectly. Chris also reminded me to call him next time if I need any gate and garage replacement parts.
