I’d like to share feedback on a recent experience with Shanelle, our stylist for over four years. We’ve always appreciated her work and had no issue with gradual price increases — my haircut is now usually around $80, and my son for his shoulder length hair since age 16 has been going to Shanelle and is charged $45–$50. At his last visit, however, my son was unexpectedly charged $65. No prior notice was given, and the website still lists men’s cuts at $50. Since my son thought Shanelle was my 'friend', he did not make any fuss at the time of payment. When I called to clarify, the conversation with the salon owner quickly became argumentative rather than helpful - an issue I've noticed before. I was told prices were posted and 'my son's hair was long!'. We’ve never seen prices displayed in the salon and their website (attached image) shows $50 for men haircuts with no mention of length! I understand that prices can change, but loyal clients deserve transparency and respectful communication. This situation, unfortunately, has led both of us to stop using Shanelle's services — not because of the $15, but because of how poorly this matter was handled by the stylist and salon. I hope this feedback helps improve communication and client care...

I was in town for my daughter’s wedding and was able to receive end to end service from the Beauty bar. Berzette who runs the salon took care of my nails and I had such a wonderful time talking about her work and love for the community. They provide a nice service to the locals and community at large. And it is situated as a part of the hotel that she rhos. I also had Emily come to my room that is where the Beauty Bar is located. She did a fabulous job with my makeup and provided a perfect hairstyle for my mermaid type dress. The pictures looked amazing!
