Not sure how this casual Mediterranean joint is getting 4.8 stars with 300+ reviews. Yes, it is departure from your everyday fast food and you get something decent. But also, it is not priced like a fast food. Capo straddles somewhere in the middle yet doesn't get either right - cheap and good enough, or amazing food yet affordable.
Try the lentil soup. Doesn't taste like anything. Literally. The tatziki was quite good but nothing special. I've had better before. The lamb and beef decorated salad was perhaps the highlight, not because of the meat though. The meat was bland and dry. I had to salt it for it to make sense. Not flavorful enough for a lamb pita or gyro plate. And it was certainly cooked a "long" time ago as it was dry and tough.
The french fries had a bit of sourness in them - I guess it was the "lemon fries". Names aside, why would you do that to a perfectly decent fried potato stick? It just doesn't go well together.
The burger was quite good but for $19..., you'd expect something special. I'd say on par with a $10 Five Guys burger.
And the interior and decor was at a fast-food level.
So again, I'm really not sure what the stars are all about. By the way, the owner was really kind and friendly! We would definitely return time to time but I'm not sure if this is something die for (which is what a 4.8...

Capo Mediterranean Kitchen delivers a flavorful take on the classic chicken skewer kebab, and it’s a dish that really stands out. The chicken is marinated to perfection—juicy, tender, and packed with bold Mediterranean spices that balance smokiness with a hint of citrus. Each bite carries that authentic char-grilled taste without being overly heavy.
The presentation is clean and inviting: the skewers are served alongside fresh sides that complement the dish beautifully. Paired with fluffy rice and a crisp Mediterranean salad, the meal feels both hearty and refreshing. The tzatziki sauce is a highlight—creamy, tangy, and the perfect cooling counterpart to the seasoned chicken.
What really makes this kebab shine is the consistency. The chicken is cooked evenly, never dry, and the flavors stay true to traditional Mediterranean cooking while feeling modern and approachable. It’s the kind of dish that works just as well for a casual lunch as it does for a satisfying dinner.
⭐ Rating: 4.7/5 – A must-try for anyone craving authentic Mediterranean flavor with...
Read more6/22 Edit: I recently ordered a falafel wrap online, for pickup. I was in a rush.and didn't pay attention to the particulars, paying with Google Pay. The price has risen to $14.00, which is pricey. However, it is an exceptional wrap. I was shocked to later notice the total was almost $20. Turns out, they have a default tip of 20% (for pickup?!) and a $1 convenience fee. I only tip for personal service, as was intended (To Improve Performance). I missed it, and so will others. A living wage tips shouldn't be confused. Pick up is convenient for the restaurant. Everything I wrote below still applies. However, I won't order pickup anymore! Previous review. Friendly efficient service. Restaurant is bright and immaculate. Food is fresh and delicious! I order the Falafel Pita off their website for pickup. Creative ingredients and a meal in itself for under $10! Their packaging is compostable, which is a nice touch. Unfortunately, they opened their doors right at the start of the pandemic. Let's support them. They're are nice...
