Suuuper nice library. I just wish it wasn't so tucked away, I had to catch an hourly bus to get here! All of the furniture and facilities seem to be in almost brand-new condition. The building is wonderful, with huge windows opening to the Belameda park, allowing a good view and some sunlight to come through. Some other features to note is an inviting play area within the children's section and a fireplace and art near the magazines. As with all smaller libraries, however, selection is a bit limited. I went through the whole catalogue pretty quickly. I found some books I am thrilled to read that I haven't really seen at any other SMPL, one of them coming from their... I hadn’t been to the library in over 10 years, but David and Doug at the Belmont Library made my return incredibly welcoming. David was training Doug, and together they helped me with so much, including learning how to book the study rooms. They were patient, detail-oriented, and went out of their way to walk me through the entire process. Not only did they answer all my questions, but they also took the time to show me how to do it myself next time.
