Suds 'n Sun — Local services in Bennington Township

Was there on a Wednesday. Prices have increased since I was last there but of course I don't go often only when I have something I can't do in my own machine. I was literally the only person in the building. That, if for no other reason, is why I won't go back. There was a small sign up saying to help keep the facility clean for others. I noticed it after I walked past the stand where they had a bottle of cleaning solution and rags (I think marked clean and dirty.). I understand that things have been difficult in the past few years, hard to find employees and costs have increased everywhere. That said raising prices and then expecting the customer to clean your facility is a bit much. I mean I'm not going to leave a mess I make but I'm also not going to wipe down your machines either. I also noticed some machines in need of repair. I remember when this place was busy and comfortable to use... Not anymore. It's actually sad to see it so deserted. Puts me in mind of being in...

So I'm a trucker and I was looking for a place to shower and looked up the reviews at the pilot across the highway from here.

One of the reviews mentioned "suds and son" A laundry mat nearby. So I looked up suds and son and called them to see if I could park my semi truck in their parking lot while I did my laundry. A very nice lady answered the phone and told me it would be OK.

As I pulled over here there are big yellow signs at the entrance way saying "no semi's"!

I pulled in anyway and went and introduced myself to the lady working at suds and sun, and she told me that semi's come in here all the time they are just not welcome to park overnight!

Being a trucker it's not an easy task to do your laundry at a truck stop!

My post isn't about the laundromat but the car wash, yet again, since the car wash is mislabeled on google. 2 of 3 machines were exploding with coins. Card only. It costs $5 to start. It gave about 4/5 mins. I spent 10 and didn't get a thorough clean because the bay was disgusting as well. There's always mud and the lot is covered in filth. Nobody cleans this place. Memorial day weekend with all the campers and golf carts, motorcycles and other traffic and this place is literally just an eye sore since it couldn't actually serve its purpose. I've complained here before. I called 2 different numbers to report the wash and Chad Squire was the first which was just a VM line, I then called the number on the door of the wash which went thru a VM system and left another message, NOBODY has responded to me.
