Not a very good experience with them.

I was looking for landscape design services (patio, fencing and general landscapers) and the first thing they asked me over the phone was what my budget was. I told them I have no experience with landscape design so how was I supposed to know what my budget was.

They asked me to send pictures of the property, which I did, and then I proceeded to stop by the shop to see if they could help and they said they would call me in a couple of days.

When I didn't hear from them I called back and they basically said they would be too expensive for me without even: 1) giving me options for what products to use; or 2) coming out to the house to see what I wanted done.

I'm sure the products are great and it was a beautiful shop but the attitude was too pretentious for me. Get over yourselves please and learn to be more flexible...

About three years ago, we moved to Warren. Our neglected flower beds needed attention. I visited four or five local nurseries and settled on Back to Nature in Basking Ridge.

Kristen Parkins was assigned as our project manager. She planned and executed our design thoughts. More importantly, she followed the development of our plantings and made replacements and improvements as needed over these past two years.

Customer service is unmatched. Think Nordstrom’s meets Disney meets your friendly neighborhood garden store. Every time I’ve entered this place the staff have gone above and beyond to make sure my needs are met, including putting me on a list to alert me when the plant I wanted would be in stock. Store is clean and beautiful, plants are of high quality and sold in excellent soil. They’re tremendously helpful and are always available to help you repot a plant; even if you didn’t buy it there.
