Today we went shopping for two reclining chairs and we ended up buying a reclining love seat. Our salesperson was Jackie or Jacqueline, Not sure of the spelling. I really appreciated the fact that she doesn't wander around with The buyer when they're looking. I always found that a bit uncomfortable. She was quite helpful in explaining your warranty program and also when we asked about our last purchase at Van Dries and how to break a couch apart. I have to admit I misled her because I thought it was the last purchase that we made where the couch could be broken down, but actually the last purchase listed was a a sofa that we bought for a different house. So that said, she was persistent in giving us the help we needed and made a phone call to a man in the warehouse who invited us in to show us how to get the back of the couch off so we could fit it through the door. Door. It worked like a charm. We were able to take the couch apart in order to donate it and are all ready for the delivery move-in time. All in all it was a great experience and we are happy to have gone to Vandries first because we do believe in buying a local. Will you make sure to pass this on to Jackie and the man in the warehouse who I think was either Fred or Frank? Thank...

Yet sadly it was more expensive than compared to some midrange walmart furniture, which felt sturdier. I know alot of furniture nowadays is pressboard with laminate and cheap pine, but this really not the quality I'd expect to see at Vandrie. Even still, they should not even try to put those excessive prices on it. Aside from that, the customer service was great. The shadowing was a bit much however. They could just give their name and let you know where they will be if customers had questions, especially if customers inform them that they are just browsing. I think a little more salesman/customer service training is needed. All in all, a nice collection of all various type of furniture and inviting stages showrooms. Wish it felt more inviting and welcoming. Customer want to BUY things not necessarily be...

Service people were quite nice. As troubles arose and needed to be dealt w it was a constant āchasing the dogs tailā⦠sales had to ask mngmnt, mngmt had to ask owner, apparently no one w clear authority would talk w me. Became exhausting! The last āinsultā was they would sell me floor models that made no noise, two years old, at full price. When I said it was used furn and I would like it discounted Jeff seemed quite miffed and informed me it was āfloor modelā and had been in no ones home!!! Wonder how many hundreds of time those in store Recliners were used in a week ???? I did like the furn and was willing to work something out but couldnāt stand the soundā¦.. so be ware, if all goes perfectly, great, but if not be ready for an uncooperative exhausting run around...
