Thistle Creek — Local services in Big Timber

Bliss! Was visiting Big Timber for three days so got to try three different kinds of their homemade pies-mixed berry, cherry, and lemon. All with big mugs of wonderful strong coffee (and I’m an entrenched Starbucks snob!). The patio is the most wonderful spot to eat/drink, people watch, and meet new friends. The shop itself is gorgeous and I have to admit to buying things each day including hand lotion and lip balm for me, jars of goodies for my adult kids such as the ingredients for hot toddies, and on the last day, after actually meeting the photographer there whose stunning scenes of Montana are on display, a large framed photo of the Montana wilderness which will remind me every day of how much I loved Montana (and...

Great pie! I had the lemon, and my wife ordered coconut. They were both delicious (I might have snuck a bite of coconut). The coffee was ground fresh for each cup. We both drank our coffee strong and black, but there are lots of options. We chose to eat outside. The gardens are well kept and the flowers were all around.
