While I go for many different products, I simply refuse to but any weapons. I have tried before at 2 different locations and all times really disappointed. The first time I bought a rifle, or had to brew returned because the bolt was bad, took it in to be exchanged, they did not have the same rifle, told me I had to exchange for a certain rifle I did not like and did not want. They would not let me look away other guns. 2 years ago went in and was looking goes a pistol, a revolver, but the person's I talked with decided I needed a glock, well for certain medical reasons, I could not have one of those, And sad to say the rudeness and being told that I really did not know what I wanted, but it is what they said and argued about what was the right one for me, I refused to get a pistol there. My husband decided that he wanted to get me another pistol for christmas this year, well at mixed and I had to go find more paperwork from car with new address on it. The one employee did not listen to My words and kept on this routine of what I needed and how this pistol had never been shot and again what paper work I needed. My husband was not thrilled at their conversation (as apparently the employee knew more than my husband and seemed pushy) well the employee had me fill out the computer work and realized after that my husband was the one who had to do it. My husband can not use the computer, he can't see the little arrow at all.. or was very frightened on that I was trying to help him and was told that I could not. (PROVEN BY AN EYE DOCTOR HE CAN'T SEE THE LITTLE ARROW even with glasses) will there was a delay on his request. Ok, no problem. Well yes there is a problem! We have decided that we're are not going back for any weapons at all. We will go somewhere else for our guns. The times there have been problems, and apparently the customer does not know what they want or what they need, the employee's know it all. I work in retail and have for years. I have never treated a customer like this. Makes my Christmas Spirit slowly go away. So Thank You again. I have chosen to tell my husband that I choose for him not to buy a gun again... unless there is respect from the salesperson! And not...
Read moreI had a difficult time locating an employee that could help me locate certain items with certainty. And when I did finally find the area if where I might find a specific item I was shopping for, the 1 employee that I could locate for this department was busy assisting 2 other customers for the 15 minutes I was standing there waiting to be helped. It took around 6 minutes before I was even glanced at to be greeted and told that I will be helped shortly. I finally left the section of the store when I started feeling out of place from just standing there looking around for 15-20mins. After that, I just wanted to get outta there and get home. I grew irritable from the frustration I had of being, what seemed to me as being invisible to any employee nearby. Everyone was apparently too busy to notice me or just ignored in order to rush through their closing tasks to get off quicker since it was within their closing hour. Either way, I did not enjoy this simple shopping trip like I was hoping it to be. Certainly not at the performance level of the well trained & helpful employees at Scheels. I'll be going the extra distance to Scheels next time I am needing to go shopping for my outdoor ...
Read moreI love Cabela's, great store. They can be a little pricey sometimes. I have always been interested in compound bows, I just recently decided to purchase one. So I did some research and found a couple that I liked. Went into Cabela's to check them out and get a better idea. Keep in mind I do most of my shopping online, because usually you can find things cheaper. The associate in the archery Department that was helping me out was unbelievable. Very rarely do I go into a store and get such amazing service. At the moment I can't remember his name, but when I remember I will revise. He answered every question I had, and I believe that he gave me his honest opinion, without directing me towards products the company would rather sell. I felt so comfortable, and now extremely excited about the new bow that I purchased it and a few accessories from him in the store instead of buying it online. He helped me out the second time I went in to buy more accessories. Amazing service again. I'm going to try to get in there today to purchase a few more things. I hope he is there today. If I could give 10 stars to the archery Department I would. Thank you so very much...
