The Maker's Market — Local services in Billings

I stopped by during Small Business Saturday for some holiday shopping. They had around a hundred (or more!) makers with displays and booths here, and every product is UPC-ed so you just bring it all up to the register when you're finished. They have crafts of all kinds: shirts, tote bags, foods, jams, jerkies, candles, crochet-ed oven towels, welded metal sculptures, wood sculptures, wall art, glass ornaments, magnets, antiques, simmer pot ingredients, aprons, kitchen utensils, pottery, I could go on. They do take cards, they do gift wrap, and there is plenty of parking. There is wheelchair parking, but the entrance doors are not automatic. The wares are spaced out enough in most areas to fit a mobility scooter. Business cards for makers are displayed at the entrance. Some makers sit behind their booths and they're very friendly! Don't sleep on this amazing little market, so many awesome gift ideas if you want something that isn't from a big box store. So much talent and so many creations here!
