What I think makes this store so great and what sets it apart is that it contains both unique items and disassembled parts. If you're looking for high-end vintage decoration pieces, you may find a few. But I feel like this is really a great store for someone looking for antique parts that are difficult to find or if you are creative and want to add your personal touch to an antique that serves as a blank canvas of sorts.
I like how the store is generally organized by category. For example, downstairs they have a lot of doors, tables, and windows. Upstairs, there is a room for clothes and an area for dishes. There are also non-categorized items scattered about. Tons to see and explore here!
What didn't work for me were these: some of the shelves were so crowded that I was sometimes afraid to touch anything for fear of knocking something else over, some areas were cluttered and looked dusty, which makes the quality look like it's just junk on a shelf, and when I was there, there was a dog behind the counter barking and jumping and then a person behind the counter kept holding it back by the collar, which was not only distracting but made me kind of nervous because I didn't know if it would attack someone. (A barking dog is one thing, but when someone is holding it by the collar, I start wondering)
As for accessibility, there are some areas that would be a tight squeeze, but I don't think it should be an issue. There are stairs to the lower level, but I also saw a door open and someone was loading some furniture into a van, so if you couldn't do the stairs, you may be able to ask if you can enter that way. (I don't know this for sure, though.)
Overall this is a dreamland for creatives looking for vintage pieces to incorporate in art or decorations or...
Read moreMade the drive up to Bingen, Wa on a recommendation from Camas Antique Mall, that this shop had a variety of "M'antques". IE: Old metal advertising signs and such... What I found was a large number of reproduction signs, with some over priced vintage / old signs mixed in... Anything I found of interest to me, seemed to be priced 3x higher then elsewhere or what I found on Google seach while in the store... One example. A cast iron Castrol Motor Oil sign was tagged $150. On line search found several in better condition for only $50... Large amount of old glassware... As shown in my photos from 1/31/20. They do have a large collection of Asian type / design furniture, decorative items and wall panels... And a selection of old wood...
