I love this convenient home town grocery store! The employees are so friendly, attentive and helpful. I love the freezer section with bulk bagged items that are decently priced like tasty breaded chicken strips, onion rings, and wings. I love the large pizza's and potato wedges. I am often asked if I am finding what I need and have had employees go to the back to get items that I really wanted that were out up front. They have an awesome deli section with home made salads, spreads and desserts. Their meat sale is always a hit with sales on quality meats. Management are hands on and personable addressing many customers by name. They offer convenience. You can take your bottle deposits to the front or back and get a slip from a cashier or attendant without having to wait in line as you would in larger grocery chain stores, and there's no computer that is going to tell you that "sorry it's full" or "sorry we do not accept this brand" forcing you to forgo your money or use the phone on the wall to call an attendant so you can Wait, taking more time out of your busy day until an attendant gets a supervisor that will verify your rejected bottle or can returns which finally results in you...

I absolutely LOVE everything about Don’s Foodland! I drive there from Davison, Michigan every month for the “Monthly Meat Sale” and if I run out of something before the next “Monthly Meat Sale” or I am just in something else, I’ll make that drive for his meat! Tim has the Best Meat & Prices Hands Down! I enjoy their homemade fresh Brat Sausage, and the selection of different flavors of Brats will definitely leave your mouth watering & happy, along with their smoked sausage as well! We love Koegel’s Summer Sausage, Tim offered me and my Family to try their Homemade Hickory Stick, because he was out of the Koegel’s one time, it was just a small chin of it, oh my goodness, it knocked Koegel’s out of the running! Been getting meat for year's here always ordered. And put a order in Wednesday morning lady in meat room said truck wasn't in yet but no problem she would put it together for Saturday. Just called to make sure my order was ready and Tim said truck came in but don't even have your order now they take your phone number when you place your order you would think they would of called so no they don't take care of there customers.
