I do not cook! I repeat. I do not cook! Everything that comes out of my oven is tasteless and gross. I can roast a vegetable and that's about it. I grew up with a mother who was an awful cook (sorry mom) and never learned myself. But I will NEVER have to learn now. My seven year old and I just gobbled down the Crawfish Etouffee and I don't know what to do with myself. It was the most delicious meal I have had since moving to Birmingham in November! I walked in and had no idea what I was looking for, but a community voucher coupon drew me in. The nicest most attentive staff member (don't hate me, but I'm horrible with names and I believe it was, Matty) greeted me and explained every single selection down to their salads. We were gifted with the Gumbo(no rice) and the Creole Shrimp and Grits. Both were scrumptious! I particularly enjoyed the Gumbo. Stopped in today for more gumbo and to try the Tarragon Chicken Salad.
