Marino's Market — Local services in Birmingham

I over all like Marinos. My mom likes to shop at the downtown Ensley location. Their prices are abit steep, but if you are not on a budget then its fine. I think the atmosphere is well organised and clean. However, I don't like the fact that they post pictures of shop lifters on the front wall at entry of the store to humiliate them. I understand that "shop lifting" or stealing is not tolerated. But to write titles under their still shot pictures, like "meat theif" or "shrimp stealer...caught 2xs" is not necessary. I believe you should never take what you can't pay for and God does not want us to be thieves. BUT...If the manager wants to inform the employees of shop lifters by keeping pictures of them, just incase the theif comes back into the store to take unpaid food items again. Just post their images in the break room or on the bulletin boards in their offices, privately. It's not professional. Anyhow, this grocery store...

They've stepped up there game the place is nice and new it's as if it was my first time ever being in Mario's the way they've renovated the place. I would like to say it's real nice and I will be back. The young meat man didn't mind stopping to answer any questions and helping and showing the merchandise and being very polite and caring about his job and I really appreciated that great job young man continue to do a great job I really like that in a person who take pride...

4.5 stars...great customer service! The store was clean with a great produce department. The half star deduction is because I could not locate any ground turkey, they didn't have Oscar Meyer deli meats or Classico pasta sauce (that I could locate) And I was not a fan of the shrimp prices. On the plus side the turkey sausage and bacon were on sale. I had an issue with how a product was rung up ... It was resolved promptly. Very...
