I recently transferred to baker from SNHU and there has been nothing but problems with this school. From financial aid from my English professor being passive aggressive and my academic advisor not seeming to interested in helping me when issues arise other then a basic “figure it out yourself type of thing”. I had to withdrawal from one of my courses last semester because I didn’t have my financial aide to complete certain assignments that I needed a specific program for. And wasn’t able to complete it in time or extend it and wasn’t made aware of this until it was to late. And now with semester just starting they withdrew me from another class randomly and now there’s a hold on my account. Literally so not worth my time I should have stayed at SNHU I had ZERO issues. This among many other reasons is why people don’t Pursue college as much anymore so stressful and not worth it. I plan on completely dropping out and looking for other future career options that do not...
Read moreWent to this school back in 2012-2013, they set me up to completely fail. When I went there, I needed a tutor to get past a hurdle in math. The tutor just hung out with his buddy and pretty much told me to figure it out myself. It was important I pass the class as it was my second attempt, yet, they did not care that I was struggling. They got their tuition from student loans and that was that. I ended up failing the second attempt with a C- and was told I would have to pay out of pocket to take the class again.... There was no way I could afford it, I was poor and relied on student loans to try and better my life! These programs take advantage and exploit those who are disadvantaged! That is what they bank on, that you fail! That is why schools should NEVER be paid up front but be paid by the performance of success per student upon passing a course! I see higher education as a total scam after...
Read moreAbsolutely the WORST college you could EVER possibly go to!! What an absolute joke, they "offer" programs for certain degrees BUT they don't offer ALL of the classes needed to complete that degree at the Jackson campus. Lol AND they won't tell you ANY of this until your halfway through your degree. AND they FIRED all the "academic advisors" and said it was to "streamline" the process and make it "easier " when in all actuality they did it to save money and put more money in the board members pockets!!. Be warned this college does absolutely nothing to help you succeed and WILL set you up for failure as long as they get...
