Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Blackman Charter Township

Still kinda rough, but not for lack of trying. You're getting there. Getting the order placed took patience, the cashier wasn't fully trained. But she and the (manager?) who helped her were friendly and eager to please. Two items ordered (from the menu) weren't available. Getting a clean table wasn't easy.. We were ultimately successful, but it was obvious the dining room hadn't been cleaned in quite a while. Received our food in record time - under 5 minutes. Presentation was GREAT. Cheese burger was built evenly and neatly, pickles evenly distributed! The fish sandwich was equally impressive and the fish heartily outsized the bun. Both sandwiches and fries were tasty, and the fish was hot, but the burger and the fries were not much better than lukewarm.. So over all a mixed experience. I am looking forward to coming back once they have all the bugs worked out to see if they continue to have great people and presentation. If, so I will add stars as appropriate. I hope they haven't signed off with the contractor who did the bathroom stalls. They are uneven and the locks already...

Stopped in for lunch with my family. Not busy at all there was only two other groups of people already sitting eating and no line inside or in the drive through. Ordered our food and sat down. About 10 minutes later they brought out fries that where cold and my wife's chicken sandwich and said they would bring the rest soon. Another 10 passed and they brought out my daughters chicken strips for her kids meal and said mine and my sons burgers would be out soon. Another 10 minutes passed totaling 30 minutes now they bring my burger out and said my sons will be out soon. Coming up on another 10 minutes I decided to go ask about his burger, before I asked they rush out with his cold burger that had to be sitting for some time now. Totally unacceptable. Frist if I want to eat lunch with my family I expect to eat with my family not one at a time. Second if I'm going to wait 35+ minutes for my food I'm going to a sit down restaurant not a "fast food" place. And last if my food is not done don't bring my sides out cold before my main. I will never return to this...

Was there on mother's day with my husband & our sons family including our 2 year old granddaughter. We waited 40 minutes for our food which they delivered to the wrong table & after letting the ppl pick they it, then picked it up & handed it to me. Really - that's not acceptable by any means. We refused it & they told us it'd take awhile to redo it because they were busy. When I stated that wasn't acceptable since we had already waited 40 minutes, they didn't reply. We asked for a refund which took another 15 minutes. No real apology or anything. My 2 year old granddaughter was starving at this point & just wanted her burger & fries. So disappointed. My first time there and this is how we are treated on mothers day. Really! At least they could have rushed and remade our food and have us free ice cream. But no nothing! Sad. Customer service there sucks! Don't go there!
