I sold my 370z with forgiato wheels to a good friend of mine as i needed a car a bit more practical so i've been looking through diffrent car sites and i seen a 2011 cts coupe i had my eye on I've been buying cars since i was 18 so I've had many experiences (good and bad) with dealerships and sales people...some were straight up crooks some good people just trying to feed they're families so i know buying a used car is a toss up...its the buyer obligation to his or her homework before handing your hard earned over to a stranger...so i read the reviews on Prime Auto Imports most were good some sounded nightmareish by the things people were leaving i could tell the onwer was hands on and very animated at his craft but i really didn't know to make of them...car looked good car fax was very clean so i said i have atleast go check it out in person but was kind of leary...so i get there me and my girl look around they're lot nice cars most in prestine shape some in they need a little work shape like the average used car lot...i was approached by a young man who introduced himself very very politely (Gabe) and asked us could he help us i told him we're just looking around but if i needed him i'd let him know he said no worries and let us be...so we kept browsing but i had my mind set on that cts coupe then that "crazy owner (Adel) that doesn't budge on prices" came and greeted us and i thought to myself this can't be the owner he's too calm and polite...so now i wanted to test drive the car and Gabe came over and told us about the car and after he finnished i pulled him to the side and said look I've been at this rodeo many many times before i just need you to be honest about this car so we could prevent both of us unnecessary bs in the near future he was as forth coming as possible about the car and i could tell he wasn't there to bs me...he got one of his guys that work on the cars (Luis) to ride with me on the test drive and i asked him aswell please don't bs me on the car trust me it won't be worth the trouble and he looked me right in my eyes and told me everything he knew about the car...the car drove amazing no lights no warnings on dash and i was like this might be good...before i started talking a price Gabe told me look if anything that we missed about the car we'll take care of it even allowed me to take the car with in a 5 mile radious to get the car inspected on my own before i buy for peace of mind (who does that?) Either these guys are top of the line con men that don't mind the headache after the con or this is probably the best and most honest dealership I've ever been to! So i said ok ima roll the dice and we started talk price now and i had a set price in my head that i felt the car was worth and i layed out a number that i knew he wouldn't be ok with so we went back and forth a bit and he called the owner who happens to be Gabe's dad the tyrant i read about in a few reviews and without hesitation his dad made me a happy guy as me and his son shook hands as the deal was done...as I'm signing the paper work a young lady that had to be a return buyer but had come across hard times needed a car to go back and forth to work and she had a budget i seen that man truly be conerned and gave her a better deal than what i got!!! This is all fact i was there I don't work for them I'm not getting paid for this but i feel a obligation to share my experiance with you guys I've never wrote a review but this one is well deserved...if anybody else had the oposite i feel for u but i can just tell you mine so the moral of this book i wrote is that don't believe everthing you hear or read not only did i get one of the best all around cars ecer made at a bargain i also made some...
Read moreLet's see. Initially I had planned to write a short American Novel praising Gabriel and Prime Auto Imports on their excellent prices, service and how smooth the whole process was, but I can see from the other reviews that it has all been done before. They are not wrong.
So, to summarize: Gabriel is quite possibly the nicest, kindest, most straightforward salesman (of any kind), that I have ever dealt with. He answered every question, was never pushy or even remotely shady. He made the process smooth and pleasant. This after visiting a couple other dealerships, where a good price gets you into the door, but once you start talking to those delinquents -all the while feeling like snakes are going through your skin- always turned out the price would go up anywhere from $1,500 to $3,000 from the price they had listed in their websites. Plus the constant push trying to sell you packages/financing and other crappola. I don't know how these places stay in business. By contrast, Gabe at Prime Auto didn't even try any of this and more importantly, even agreed to a discount when asked for it -no haggling, not buts, just a "Sure, we can do that! - I was shocked. I guess I'm not used to this kind of great service. Also, no dealer fees.
Gabriel even surprised us by letting us know the car still has about a year and/or some 34K miles of the original manufacturer warranty left on the engine and drive train. SAY WHAT?!
Also, their selection and prices are excellent, too. When we stopped there, we started to second guess our first choice since there were so many great cars and SUVs at great prices, excellent conditions and low mileage.
By the way, the car was for my parents (happy customer pictures attached) and we all feel extremely happy with the purchase. Car is in pristine condition, drives like a dream and the price was some 2 - 3K below the Blue Book value if I remember correctly. Full CarFax report provided as well.
If this isn't enough for you to realize that you should definitely give Prime Auto Imports a visit before you go anywhere else, I don't know what will. I will certainly return when I need a vehicle and will refer anyone in need of one (and already have sang the praises to family and friends that inquire about the nice new car).
Well, look at that, it ended up turning into a small essay. I guess it can't be helped when the service is this good.
Thank you Gabriel and Prime...
Read more0/5 Stars - Avoid Prime Auto Imports at All Costs!
I recently purchased a vehicle Audi A3 from Prime Auto Imports and had a thoroughly disappointing experience. Initially, the sales team presented themselves as friendly and helpful, but their demeanor changed dramatically when the car developed issues.
Within a week of ownership, oil began leaking profusely onto my garage floor. When I attempted to contact Prime Auto Imports for assistance, they became evasive and uncooperative. They lied to me, gave me the runaround, and kept my car for over a week, promising to order and install the necessary parts, but ultimately did nothing.
It has become clear that Prime Auto Imports prioritizes making sales over ensuring their customers receive reliable vehicles. Their customer service is subpar, and I would strongly advise anyone considering a purchase from them to exercise extreme caution.
You may find yourself burdened with excessive maintenance and repair costs, which is precisely what you aim to avoid when buying a car. I urge you to learn from my experience and avoid Prime Auto Imports altogether.
RESPONCE TO GABE 9/7/2024
Gabe, I'm responding to your defensive and misinformed reply. Let's set the record straight: my cousin Robert, a man, was the one who purchased the car and dealt with you directly. He's the one who inspected the vehicle and spoke with you about the issues.
Your 'Karen' comment is not only unprofessional but also laughable, given that you interacted with Robert, not me. It's clear you're trying to deflect responsibility and shift the blame.
Instead of insults and excuses, how about you focus on addressing the legitimate concerns Robert raised? The car's issues are real, and your dealership's lack of transparency and accountability is disappointing.
As I said, beware of purchasing anything from this dealer. The owner's willingness to engage in a public argument on Google Reviews, despite being in the wrong, speaks volumes about their priorities. It's clear they value their ego over customer satisfaction. Take heed of this exchange and consider taking your business (and your hard-earned money) elsewhere.
If you want to make things right, I suggest you reach out to Robert and work towards a solution. Until then, your reputation will continue to suffer from...
