Not professional approach to the contractor. I purchased 3 rolls of #12 solid for the circuit wiring, but electrical engineer revised the drawings to run #10 THHN. I went back after couple days with the receipt to return #12 wire person at the counter wants to charge me $80.00 restocking fee, almost a price of 1 full roll of #12. I was told if I had an account he wouldn't charge me a restocking fee! I protected and he went back to office, came back and refund me the full amount,  being very unhappy! Before I left the store, the counter person  warned me - If I buy again the staff from them and don't return same day, he will charge me a restocking fee! I am NOT going back again to the place to do business! They lost a big contract!!! Be aware contractors! Very poor...

The fact that this mom and pop store opens on a Saturday goes farther than walters,main, or any other Electrical Supply houses that are closed this is VITAL especially to those like myself who have to do a shutdown on a Saturday and we run into a problem and need something without having to drive all the way to the shop in LA time and drive is absolutely great customer service i met the owner his wife and son all great people and i hope this store stays open for a long time,aside from my shutdown there were certain panels,beakers,that were needed that they had for my side work...

J & A Electrical Supplies is over priced. Charging $150 over market value for a 200A main service. $398.00 for a panel that’s $289-$300 anywhere else. Avoid this place if possible at all cost. Other suppliers have better prices. Home Depot or Lowe’s have better prices. Not...
