I loved the braids and clean parts. I had a scheduled appointment with Taanya at 10am. I showed up to my appointment on time. She didn’t show up until an hour later. I was quoted $250 for the braids I wanted. I showed what style I wanted and expressed that the length I wanted. I ended up getting braids that were too long that I didn’t ask for. Online it says 5 hours for the style, I was in there for 9 hours. I didn’t appreciate the long time breaks in between. I didn’t find sitting on the phone relaxing while someone is in the chair paying you for a service professional. She handled my hair to roughly. She blow dried my hair and put the hair dryer too close to my scalp and caused blisters to my scalp. I was then charged $300 when I was only told $250. The stylist wasn’t on time so I personally didn’t feel the need to pay another $50.

I got my braids done yesterday and overall, I’m happy with how they turned out but there was only one problem. I showed at 2pm and nobody started working on my hair until 3:45pm. This was way too long, especially since the establishment only has a 15 minute grace period in the policy. However, I really loved the work my braider did do. While it took a little over five hours, I felt like that was a great time considering that I did medium box braids. They provided great quality hair and products. New to the area and needed to get my two oldest kids (13yr and 7yr old) hair done. Great availability and quick at responding to inquiry. She was awesome with my kids who are extremely tender headed, not a single tear from them! She gave exactly what was asked for and the price was well worth it.
