Boerne Escape Rooms — Local services in Boerne

Our experience was ok-ish. The actual room itself was very challenging/clever, I think a team that is comprised of some people who are very good at puzzles/escape rooms would have enjoyed it more (it was the Pirates Cove room). However my 9 y/o son had done the Sasquatch room a month prior with his friends and said it was easy, so when I went to the website and saw that the Pirates Cove was only marked as one more difficulty level up from Sasquatch, we figured it was palatable for a group made of one adult and 3 kids.. boy was I wrong- we needed a ton of hints to advance to each level and there were 3 defective parts to the room that set us back. I personally like escape rooms where I dont need a ton of hints to it, and I have definitely done a handful and have a good basis for comparison. The guy in the front said afterwards that of the 4 rooms they have, Pirates Cove was the hardest and Sasquatch is the easiest- the website definitely does not show that. My kids were troopers and didn't complain too much, but my daughter was barely able to participate and it was hardly "fun" at all. I will not be going back. The website didn't accurately reflect the challenges, and it costs too much money to not know up front what you are getting. 2 of my kids had never done an escape room, and I definitely would have chosen something that was more of an introduction room for them. @Owner- Thank you kindly for the response- unlimited hints is not what makes it fun for us- we like to solve it...

My family was traveling through the area and wanted to try the escape room experience. We had an incredible time, here. The experience is very creative and entertaining from start to finish. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful (even though they had their hands very full at the time). We played through The Seasoning of the Witch, and found the puzzles to be just the right level of challenge. The room decoration was very immersive and had great charm. Speaking of immersion, push the red button in the restroom for "space mode." You won't be disappointed. Did I jettison something foul into space? It sure felt like it! Boerne Escape Rooms was amazing! My son wanted to do his birthday party here and we were so impressed with the accommodations made for his party. It was so easy to schedule the party and get answers to questions I had and was reasonably priced. The kids at the party loved the escape room they did (Sasquatch) and were super entertained.
