I visited here the other day as I was going to some thrift stores and flea markets in Bolivar. It was my first time here and saw the expensive “nostalgic” toys on the bottom level. Cool for a collector somewhere I’m sure. Most things have no prices as you look at them which I found out why very quick. I saw there was 3 floors total with VERY different types of items on each level. The top 2 floors are more or less a garage sale/ flea market items just strung about. I made my way to the 3rd floor (attic) where there was piles of clothes and stuff you could tell had been up there for a LONG time. I found some shoes all strung about where most I had to search for the other shoe to make a complete pair. Most were dirty and we’re gonna take lots of cleaning. One pair were a very old style Reebok football cleat which did have tags. Again, items that have been up in the 3rd floor attic for who knows how long. Surely he wants to make money right? I took them all to the counter since they had no prices I figured we could maybe make a deal for all the shoes or maybe even haggle. He insisted they all had prices. None were marked at all. He pulls out his phone and I think maybe he has a inventory system and he just needs to type in the name to find the item in his database. Ha, was I way wrong! He pulls up EBay and proceeds to look up the most recent sold prices as if online retail is even comparable to brick and mortar sales not to mention flea market sales. Like they weren’t just all over his attic that I just dug them out of. I have never seen a store just make up prices on the fly using eBay comps considering those prices are good for 90 days you may get a different price if you go in just a few days later. He made sure to let me know he was a power seller on eBay like I cared at all. Why weren’t they listed on eBay then? He says “I’ll just save my time and not price the rest of them than” Oh ya cause they were lost in your attic until I dug them out for you. You are welcome for the free clean out. I should have read the other reviews very similar to mine before I went in. Very unfriendly which is odd for someone who has a shop...
Read moreMy experience was awful. I brought in 2 laptops, each needing the power cord outlet fixed. I simply brought them in to see how much they would cost. Rob said that they would cost $90 each. I told him that wasn't a possibility and asked what could be done. He said to trade the one of the laptops and all would be good. I thought this was a good idea. I agreed to it. They "fixed" the power cord outlet, only to break the mouse pad. I had to call a bunch of times to talk to them about it and when it would be ready or not. I eventually had to go pick up my laptop, mouse pad unfixed because I had a paper to work on. I brought the laptop back after finally being called about the part being in place. I told them I would need my laptop at a certain time and Rob said that it wasn't possible that they had been given a lot to fix that day, even though I had brought in my laptop before the other people brought in their electronics to be fixed. When I asked Rob about it he told me that calling and talking to him about it was a waste of my time and that it would be fixed when it was fixed and not a moment before, he then hung up on me. I picked up my laptop the next day. A week ago, the power cord outlet broke again and I realized that all they did was glue it into place, they never ordered a new part and completely took advantage of me. I will NEVER go back to them again and I will tell all of my friends to avoid them like the plague. What's really sad is that they don't care enough about their customers to attempt to fix issues like this. They don't care at all. Now I'm stuck with a broken laptop and there's nothing I can...
Read moreI don't even know where to start with this dumpster fire of a business. Make sure your life insurance is paid up, as this store is a total death trap and disaster waiting to happen. I have sunshine requested inspection records for the business, as I am curious how it has passed any fire inspections. I get it, it's Polk County/Ghetto Bolivar, but still.. JESUS!!! This dude openly admits to buying stuff out the back door of their local Wal-Mart to sell for a higher price in this joke of an establishment. When someone acts like an expert or a guru, they never are. There are ZERO prices to be found .. on ANYTHING! I am sure this is by purpose so the owner and his trailer park friends can take advantage of unknowing customers, as others have mentioned in reviews. Selling items for over the highest sold comps on eBay! The third floor or attic area is a bunch of garage sale leftovers and junk clothing. I came across copious amount of rodent feces while looking through this area. Disgusting! I reached out to the owner to see about selling my childhood collection and he basically blew me off after I told him I knew the current market value of every item I had. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere! I have reported this business to the city building regulations department, fire department, health department...
