I first want to start out by saying how delicious the food is at curly que and how nice the owner is. I booked curly que for catering at my wedding this past weekend. When I went for the taste testing and to discuss pricing and needs for the wedding in November, the owner had went to Walmart at the time we were supposed to meet. I waited there for an hour for her to come back for our appointment. She was very apologetic, and got right to business. I tried some different meats and sides and decided on my menu. We discussed timeline and menu items and I left. Cindi, the owner, then emailed me the details discussed including the time of ceremony and time dinner would be served. We then did not have any other discussions until I had final guest count for the wedding in July. She asked for final headcount and nothing more was said between the company and I until wedding day. My ceremony time was at 5:30, immediately after my husband and I started taking family pictures and had not been inside the venue to realize my caterers were not there. The venue called them to see how far out they were and were told that they had the ceremony time down for 7:30 and that they usually arrive 30 minutes before ceremony time to begin set up. Curly Que did not show up at my venue until around 8:30 that night. I had hungry guests, including kids. When they arrived they were again very apologetic. They said this has never happened to them and gave a full refund with no questions asked. They got set up extremely fast and got my guests served. The food was delicious (when I got to eat it the next day). I leave this review not to shame them or to make them feel worse than I know they already do. But so that anyone who books with them knows to verify times and details with them to ensure there are no...

We've been back three times since our first visit. I tried the Piggly Wiggly on the second visit and have stuck with it as it is probably the best burger you can buy off a menu anywhere in this part of the state. They make a big, handmade burger, pile on juicy pulled pork, top that with a breaded onion ring, then garnish with lettuce, onion, pickles and a thick slice of tomato on a nice fresh bun. Add great baked beans or delicious hand cut fries and some good tea for a meal that will make you smile 😊. She likes the pulled chicken and fries. Just over $21 for a satisfying meal👍.

Our first visit and very satisfied with the food and great service. I had the brisket with baked beans, she had the chicken with cheesy potatoes and iced tea for both. Good portions and just under $20 all in.

While the meat appeared to be smoked on site and indeed smelled and tasted near perfection, her chicken was a bit dry and salty. My brisket was very tender but a bit dry as well.

The menu is limited. On this Wednesday, the choice was burgers, chicken, pork, or brisket sandwiches with a variety of sides. We weren't offered a choice of BBQ sauce. The menu shows tri tip one day and ribs two days per week. No platters.

We will be back because good tender smoked meat beats sauce on inferior meat every time. I'm guessing recovery from the pandemic will see a bit more choice in condiments...

2/20/22 I've eaten here before through pick ups, never dine-in. Those were also good.

I would say, without a doubt, that the food is worth the prices. The food was so good, and the workers were so friendly. So very friendly, that while I sat with my twin sister and our friend, we had stayed there from 1:30 til a bit past closing time. I didn't know they closed early on Sundays, as this was the first time for the two of us dining in, and our friend didn't know as well. I feel so very bad, because I worked food before, and I remember having to wait for people to leave, but they didn't seem agitated at all, and if I had known, we would've left a lot sooner. Perhaps they knew that we were just having a good time, and that we weren't trying to be in the way. Also, they are very sanitary, and they're all so very sweet. I definitely recommend eating there and tipping as well. (you pay before eating, but if you're unsure on tipping, I would say they very much appreciate it, and they seem to earn it as well. Plus, it helps them...

I was wanting to give it higher but just couldn't maybe it's my taste so I will share. I love poutine they had the fry style and gravy down but my fries need a double fry. They were either floppy or under cooked and the Italian seasoned cheese curds didn't work like the white American cheese curds I am used to. The burger itself was too salty and I love salt ... but the pulled pork on it was great and last was the bean the pinto beans or brown beans were good but the kidney beans were still a little too tough not cooked long enough. I will try again focus on the bbq see if it was just an off day.
