The casino still is trash, the horse racing is nothing but third rate horses, low purses, with a tired bunch of drunks smoking cigarettes. Update July 17, 2023 The casino is done many of the machines are so wore out they're missing buttons. The racetrack is the absolute worst case scenario, just the same old regular drunken slobs getting drunker chain smoking cigarettes. If this how the owner intends to draw out of town visitors good luck. I'd bet the horses are planning a take over. 6/3/2024 the track is terrible, downstairs just a bunch of tired old cigarette smoking drunks making $2.00 bets. The quality of horses is not much different other than the horses are not drinking or smoking! 7/6/2024 The Inside Rail Sports Bar & Grill immaculate, but the food is just mediocre. Whomever decided the menu is nothing short of an idiot. Chicken fried steak with no mashed potatoes or rice & gravy? They offer some canned hog slop called "loaded mashed potatoes".🤮 They try to up-charge on everything, no substitutions. Everything is frozen bulls**! 12/19/2024 It's really a shame how this place is run, can the owner not find any qualified help to oversee this place? I surely hope he's not running it himself, because if he is, he needs to use a totally different marketing approach, before "LIVE" casino opens up and puts his 20 million dollar Mickey Mouse operation out of business! This casino is a slum . Service is a joke . Machines are always broken. Food is so low quality but at 5star prices. Spend thousands a week but never receive any promotions . They give free coffee as your reward but coffee shop is never opened. It's not safe shady looking men will follow you to every machine and security does not care to ask them to leave clearly they aren't playing. They have one cocktail server on weekends cash machines are always out of cash. The employees are beyond rude. Not all some are great. The owner is a slumlord because he won't try to improve this casino. He took a decent place an made it a trashy lowgrade unsafe casino. Security is geriatric some use actual walkers . Stay away from here at night It's not worth being followed by schetchy people . Should be a law that police have to be employed at casino at night .I've been gambling there for many many years . And your casino doesn't give anyone anything no freeplay but maybe 2-4 times a month if you're lucky an then it's 5 bucks. I play highlimits 10 a spin most times . I never get anything from casino so I don't bother with a card anymore it's not worth using it anymore. Food is a joke I watched them throw a customers foor back in fried after customer had it at table health hazard 100%. Employees most are unfriendly, just rude. I know and have good relationships with the friendly ones. Bathroom attendees are hiding in there on phone and bathrooms are out of paper ,dirty sad.and the shady men following women around never playing any machine . Waiting to snatch something. Heck 2 security bosses are amazing one is the lady who has since been changed back to her normal shift. And the man who's been security at casinos since day one in 94 /96 . Small Frame always saying hello helping customers . The rest are a joke pretty much. So don't blow smoke . You don't give 2 cents about casino you've been there what 3 maybe 4 times only because gaming board had issues. You play no music it's quiet people want music fun,energy being a dealer since 96 customers want friendly service. They are giving hard earned money and want to be treated like they pay your bills . After all they do to a point. Comp your loyal customers. And when u have drawings it's always the people who don't gamble just drink an wait to win drawing and it's always one not the actual gamblers . We go to a good casino now where...

I’m very upset with my experience as a Diamond Plus Player through Caesars Rewards. I visited Harrahs Louisiana Downs on May 3, 2021. Upon my arrival the cashier Alexis I spoke with informed me that they were instructed to close the grill down for cleaning . It was 10:15pm when I arrived and according to the Fudruckers website, the restaurant was to close at 12am. She also told me that the restaurant actually closes at 11pm and her and the MOD Devontae aka Tae was instructed by the General Manager Rachel to clean the grill early and that they need to be off the clock by 11pm which included cleaning of everything. I’m a little irritated with the inconvenience and inconsistency of service. I spend a large amount of money with Caesars Entertainment and the partnership with Fudruckers at Harrahs LA downs seems to be lackluster.

I can possibly understand shutting down your grill 15-20 min before, prior to closing, but this is unacceptable closing down 45 min before. Please address this issue with the appropriate person and or persons. Again I’m very disappointed with the lack of service along with the leadership the staff at this located has been appointed to follow. Please have someone from higher management contact me because this is absurd and inconvenient.
