We had the pleasure of dining at Lucky Palace this week, and wow, what a treat! It was our first visit since they relocated to the race track and casino complex, and we're absolutely impressed. We were there early but by the time we had finished our meals the place was filling fast. This place has always been one of the best-kept secrets in the Caddo/Bossier restaurant scene, and now they’ve stepped it up with a stunning new home. We've been fans for years thanks to their delicious food and top-notch service, and now it’s an all-around amazing experience. If the casino vibe isn’t your thing, no worries! You can easily enter through the north entrance and head straight into the restaurant from the main lobby. The beautiful aquarium and incredible selection of fine wines really add to the charm of their new space. Plus, the menu is extensive and sure to please everyone! Congratulations to Lucky Palace on this exciting new chapter—wishing you all the best for the future!

I give this place a four star for being different. They actually serve duck noodle soup. It's very hard to find a Chinese restaurant that serve traditional dishes outside of big cities like New York and Atlanta. Also, I was surprised to find this place reside within a motel. The interior design is good as it has a bar but is separated from the main eating area. I wouldn't mind taking my families and friends here for a dinner gathering or taking my girlfriend here for a date night. Moreover, the service is excellent which is always a plus. The food, on the other hand, is okay. The noodle soup is way too salty. I simply didn't touch the broth at all. The duck is very tasty, but the duck skin is not crispy enough. But depending on ones preference, that can be a good or bad thing. Traditionally, this dish is suppose to be served with crispy roasted duck. However, I don't mind coming back here to give it another try.

My wife myself and 3 of my high school friends went to Lucky Palace tonite they had never been. Don’t let the look fool You. Step into a beautiful place when you enter the doors. We had to wait on our friends to arrive so we had appitzers and drinks. The beer was super cold and the appetizers were amazing. They came out in an amazing short time. My wife had the shrimp toast. And she said it was amazing. We sat and talked for a bit, all the while our water and drinks werer never empty. The waitresses weee amazing and quiet funny. They treat you like family. It was a great place to each and visit and catch up with everyone. On another note, not sure who picked the music but it rocked. I would recommend if you want some great food and atmosphere this is your place

I really hate to leave a bad review because we've been loyal costumers and always loved the food here but the manager, Darlene, was just extremely rude to me and hung up on me. She also mocked me. I was so shocked at the horrible customer service that a manager would give. Especially bc the gentleman that took my order last night offered amazing customer service. I checked my bank account and it showed almost $30 more was taken out of my account than I authorized so I called to find out why. (I left a cash tip) I found out that if you psy by debit card, lucky palace charges you 4% to use your debit card. I've never been informed of that the many times we ordered pick up but at least I understood where $4 of it was coming from so i didn't have issue with that. I still didn't know why the other $25 was held. The manager kept telling me that it's the bank that charges the 4% and its the bank that put a hold on the extra money. It's not my bank that charges the extra amount, it's the system lucky palace uses that charges the 4% so in turn lucky palace charges their customers those fees. Still the manager kept blaming it on the bank putting a hold on all of the extra money. That makes no sense. I asked why my bank would do that and didn't do it anywhere else and she started interrupting me and then when I asked her not to interrupt me, she yelled and hung up on me. It was beyond unprofessional. I called back and the other person explained that 20% is held in case you leave a tip. That was easy to understand when explained correctly. I thanked her for explaining it that way and I could hear Darlene laughing in the background. When a loyal costumer calls about questions they should be treated with a little respect. At the bare minimum they shouldn't be disrespected and laughed at. I will not trust lucky palace with my...

This is a hit-and-miss kind of place. The way we were treated tonight was absolutely ridiculous! The manager cannot say "hey, we screwed up but we are doing what we can to get your order out immediately". Instead, it starts out with "one of my cooks just got sick, when I said something else, it became the excuse of white sauce/brown sauce". And the manager was hateful when I tried to talk to her. I didn't ask for my food to be free. Hell, just bring me my food, especially since I ordered an hour ago.....but your cook just got sick. Then she moves on away from my table, very annoying and loud talking to other guests (who came in an hour after we arrived, was served, had eaten and were paying their bill) about how busy they are, how her cook got sick...blah, blah, blah. Have some dignity and admit y'all are human and you messed up. No need to be so unprofessional and get aggressive like you want to punch someone. The food is wonderful, however...when you can get it. If you get the male waiter there, you will get served promptly. Good luck getting hot food too. My husbands plate was room temp. But when I mentioned it, the manager, very loudly, said "ma'am, I told you I am taking care of your check". But didn't want to hear me. I want her to hear me now...I do not want your excuses, I do not want my "check taken care of". What I did want was my food I ordered, an "I'm sorry, but we messed up", and to pay for my dinner without you making a huge scene and becoming obnoxiously annoying and irate like a child who didn't get his way. This was the 3rd strike for this place. The name us very fitting...you're LUCKY if you get your food, you're LUCKY if you don't have the manager come "talk" to you, you're LUCKY if your water glass gets filled the second time and you're LUCKY if you get...

My family and I have eaten at Lucky Palace many times. The food is normally quite good which brings us back to dine. We ate at the restaurant for lunch on a Saturday. It was July 20, 2019 at 11:00am. There were a few disappointments that motivated me to write this review. It started first when I order egg rolls for appetizers. Unfortunately the egg rolls arrived after the dinner arrived instead of having them before the meal like a normal appetizer would arrive. Secondly, the waitress failed to bring the little bowl of sweet and sour sauce with the little spoon when she finally brought the egg rolls. When I asked her about the sauce, she said that the sauce cost $3.00 extra. I asked her why have they never charged me for the sauce before and she said they shouldn’t have given me the sauce without charging. I have never heard of a Chinese restaurant charging extra for the sweet and sour sauce for egg rolls. Fast food restaurants don’t even charge you for the sauce! I told her then never mind about the egg roll please take it back and remove from my ticket. She did take the egg roll back but I didn’t release until after I left that she didn’t take the egg roll off. Another problem I have with the restaurant is that they have a big notice in the menu that if you use a credit card they charge 4% more since they have to pay merchant fees. Then the waitress had eluded the same fact even if it is a debit card. That is just bad business. Just go up of your prices if you feel the need to offset merchant fees. All business have to pay merchant fees. Why blatantly advertise this fact is beyond me. We will now find another Chinese restaurant as our go to when we...
