Itās a cool little place!
While itās not as large as Ryan Family Amusements (which Iām not associated with despite my name), it has a much different feel, less corporate and much more classic. It has a similar feel to the titular FunSpot. Thereās some spray painted art on the brick walls, as well as some sports memorabilia. If you arenāt a fan of the smaller size, the owner did say he was going to put more games out eventually. About the classics, the Simpsons cabinet is free play. Besides having to bend down, itās a cool cabinet. Thereās also a Marvel Super Heroes cabinet, a fun fighting game. Nearby were some pinball games. One was relatively more recent, while the others were more a bit older. As for the modern games, there was some interesting VR machines. One of them was a VR ride, while the other was a shooter. A few of the other games are coin droppers, some prize games, amongst some other ticket games. If you want to play pool or ice hockey, this place has also got you covered.
Something to note is that some machines take different coins. Some takes quarters, and some take arcade tokens. There are two machines that cover both. There is a vending machine for snacks and drinks (Dippinā Dots are offered at the counter), and there are bathrooms if needed.
If you are into classic arcade games, enjoy modern arcades, or both, I think this place is worth a try! As of posting this, donāt expect a Galloping Ghost amount of classic 80ās-90ās style games, though there are a few.
This place felt like a smaller version of FunSpot! We had a lot of fun with the classic pinball and arcade games, I hope they put more out!
Edit: I left out descriptions for two other classic games. There's Waverunner GP, a sitdown water racing game, as well as Beachhead 2002.
Beachhead 2002 is a very interesting classic. Initially, I thought this game was a more recent release, but it turns out it was actually released in 2002. It has a very interesting control scheme; it's...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWhat a great hole in the wall arcade! A FB friend recently posted their positive experience and with that being 10 minutes ride from my house with a five-year-old little boy whom we travel to other closest locations for arcade 30 minutes plus so coming across this was a score! I could go on and on about all the great things about this place, but first Iāll start with the original games. They have games that I havenāt seen for 20+ years that were definitely favorites and glad to see resurface, next of actually using physical Tickets, my son who is five years old with so confused to what tickets were? How weird is that? Itās been that far in time that everything is electronic except that should be of course⦠it was actually great to get gratification instantly after winning again and physically be able to count your tickets and pick out a prize. It actually kills a little bit more time than you plan to. I could go on and on with positive things at this place provided however I will conclude with how great the owner of this establishment was! He was super attentive, really flexible, and great with engaging with my son and other customers, including someone of special needs that clearly had visited previously and interacted with him was just amazing thumbs up to this place and kudos...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIt's a nice little arcade. I have been to a lot of arcades in this area, and almost all of them have those card swipe things instead of tokens, but this place still has tokens and it really adds to the experience. Watching the tickets spit out of the machine after winning a jackpot is much more satisfying than waiting for some numbers to stop ticking so you can swipe another game. It has some interesting games too, its better to be a small place with a bunch of cool and fun games than a large place filled with boring games that are way too expensive! Me an my sister went to Arcade Valley with $30 and came out with 1500 tickets, a couple prizes, and $10 in quarters and we had tons of fun. I highly recommend this place, and I hope in the future they can...
