Been going there for years and my wife and I have spent hundreds, if not thousands of dollars in their store. Earlier this year 2018, I asked one of the owners/workers for a price on a simple tool, I was quoted $15 which was out of this galaxy ridiculous. Fine, I put the tool back where I found it. Several minutes later, I was asked, "where did you put that?" accusingly, like I stole it. I showed him where I put it back where I found it!. Ok, I let that go. I'm sure they get a lot of idiots stealing things. Flash forward to this weekend. Stopped there again and we were told, "special pricing" was in effect. Half off marked items. Well, except for the item I wanted to buy! Are you kidding me? I'm easy to get along with. THEN, my wife and I collected a hand full of hardware for a project we may or may not do at some point in the future. As with everything, it comes down to price. They name the price and there is usually negotiation. She stated a very high price for the hardware and I looked at my wife then back at the "sales woman" and said "we couldn't do that", she took the items off of the counter and said, "ok, bye" I get it, being in business is not easy. Been in business all of my life but don't make it more difficult by alienating your best customers. I hope they do well but we...
Read moreI hate to give bad reviews, but I’m very disappointed in this shop. I’ve come here the past few years and used to get great deals on Halloween items, antique frames and photos, etc. They are late to open the stores, but I waited anyway. I came in for Black Friday and feel like I got ripped off. I’m not confrontational and felt bad backing out of purchasing, so I purchased anyway. I’m autistic so social interaction is hard for me.The total for my items was $32 which would have been $60, regular priced. Some of the items are not in great condition, as they don’t store their items safely. I found items crumbled up in boxes. They charge as if theyre a high end antique store, but things are thrown around like a hoarder’s house. I hate to say that, but the condition of the items does not reflect the high price. Halloween treat bags were 3 for $10 as a DEAL… they were mostly crumbled and yellowed. I collect Halloween items often and find much better prices on items in good condition nothing really has a price on it, and I feel they might make it up in the moment. I was really disappointed. As a collector and seller of antiques, it hurts to see so many items tossed about and not organized securely, and being sold for...
Read moreI wish I could give them negative stars only because Im still dumbfounded at what just happened. Worst customer service EVER. I will never go back to this trash store. I tried buying some needlepoint kits that they had advertised they would be selling because they "have such a huge overstock". I live 2 hours away and was down here for a different reason today. The guy told me that I could look thru them and buy what I wanted even though the big sale on them wasn't until tomorrow. While I was looking I could hear him telling the other employees what I had just said to him in a mocking voice. Then another employee came and told me I couldn't look thru the needlepoint stuff anymore and I couldn't buy what I had already picked out. I understand miscommunications but they were just straight up rude about it. Even without any of that happening the store was waaay too crowded (with junk, not people) with no...
