I placed an order online, the lady at the flower shop called me to tell me that the price online is incorrect and she could not possible sell me 18 roses at that price. She also told me she doesn't have the roses that I wanted to order. She told me I would have to pay $20+ more if I wanted the arrangement on the site. I told her if this was for any other day or reason I would tell her that is unacceptable but since I needed them today I would have to deal with it. She continued on with a nasty tone that the price of things etc blahh blahh supply chain blahhh blahhh the normal conversation that everyone has these days. I told her she should at the very least update her website for price since there is such a difference and she basically told me that she has had a bad week and she doesn't care what my thoughts are, I explained to her I am very sorry she has had a bad week but I too have had a bad week, that is why I am ordering these flowers for a sick family member. I told her I was very sorry for her loss, I knew her family member and he was a great man and she told me she doesn't care or want my condolences. I have ordered flowers from there for years and will not be doing it again. I am very sorry for her loss but I am sorry for my situation as well and I needed those flowers to cheer up one of my loved ones. if she would have had a better attitude when she called me to tell me the price of the flowers was going to be way higher than her website said I would have understood. You CANNOT have one price on your website and then charge another price because you did not take the time to update your prices. You should also know that there are many other flower shops in the area and if you keep treating people the way she treated me, soon all the customers will be going elsewhere. I asked for a suggestion on an arrangement for this occasion and was quickly referred to their website and told to call back when I knew what I wanted. I called back 20 mins later and was told it was too late to place an order to be delivered today, the driver had just left. The website however stated orders could be placed until 1:00pm est. The rep had just told me to review the website and call back. I was shocked by this response because the service was not consistent with the service I had received in the past. I have been a customer for over 47 years. My most recent order was in April 2022. I will no longer be placing any orders with them going forward.
