So we are local artists and we went there to bring our daughter to pick out and buy some toys. Even though the place is out of the way, and way over priced, I figured we give it a chance to change things up a bit. But when we walked in the cashier was very unwelcoming and seemed upset that we were there. It's kinda funny, because she seemed to judge us because we have tattoos and were dressed in casual clothes,she watched every move like we were going to rob the place. she took the keys off the counter, locked the cash drawer and was very rude. It's discrimination at its best It was so bad that my 7 year old daughter asked what was wrong with her. After the fourth time of her sighing loud we decided to leave, and not buy from there. But to go to the toy shop in orleans, where they were awesome. We spent a couple hundred dollars and had a great shopping experience.So do you and your family a favor and avoid this place. It's way over priced, has nothing special that you can't find at other toy stores, and has the worst...

Our daughter is expecting a baby in January so while on vacation at the Cape we were looking for stuffed toys as a gift. What a beautiful upscale toy store this is with excellent quality toys that you just can’t find any place else. Sherry the owner, was so pleasant In helping us find several beautiful stuffed toys and a bed time book for our future grandchild... the only problem was we realized our suitcases were so over stuffed as it was they would get squished during the flight home. Sherry said no problem, I will ship it for you.. and she did just that. We truly appreciated this type of old fashioned service that you just don’t find anymore. I had an awesome experience here just yesterday. Village toy store has a great variety of toys, covering a whole range of ages; I even saw some board games that adults would like. The toys here are more money than places like Walmart, but they are good quality meant to last. I was impressed with the selection! The owner is very nice, too. We had a good conversation and she was kind enough to include a free train...
