The guys here have the WORST attitude I have ever dealt with. I came here three times. The first time was to purchase a jack. Before I even went to look for it, I asked the guy at the register what the policy is, he said 90 days. I said ok. Bought the jack. The jack was too small for my vehicle so I came back the same day and upgraded to a bigger one. The same guy asked me if I was planning on returning it, I said yes.
Now, here is where the attitude begins. When I came to return the first jack because it was too small, there was only one lane with about 4-5 customers in front of me. I'm holding this 1.5ton jack in my arms. One of the associates come up and open up another register and asks for next person in line. They go. Now at this point there is 2 customers ahead of me. I see the other guy is almost done where the register just opened up and so I go to that lane. The guy says to me: "excuse me ma'am, there's only one lane." I'm like ok: "I need to set this down and grab a different jack." So I set it down and go grab a bigger jack. As I'm walking away the SAME GUY SAYS: "next in line.".....wtf??? So, now I go back to the original line I was in. The guy finishes up with the customer and calls next in line which would be me, but I don't go because at this point I don't even want to deal with him. So a third guy comes up and asks if I'm ready, I say yes and he helps me, no problem. Rings me up and I'm on my way.
Now, today..just a day and a half later, I go back. I'm waiting in line, whole new shift, no one there from the other day. Dude comes up to me, takes my cart and inspects it. He goes, "what's wrong with it?" I say "nothing". Then he's like: "well we're not going to take it back if there's nothing wrong with it. You done used it and did what you wanted with it and now you want to return it." I responded: "they said I had 90 days to return it." He says: "yea if it's not used, it says it on the back of the receipt" I'm like: "I only had it for a day" he says "well, we're not taking it back " I'm like ok. so I leave and go to a different store.
The experience at this other store was better than I dealt with at this store in the last two days. They were kind and polite. And they didn't even question the return, they just did it. I don't know what the problem is with these guys if they're on their period or having problems at home but do better.
Needless to say I will never be returning to this location and honestly I will never buy anything from this company again.
P.s. it's not on the back of...
Read moreThey had the Predator 3500 Generator on sale so I decided it was time. I live in Danbury, Ct and my local store was out of stock so I had to travel about an hour away to the Bridgeport, Ct. store to get one that was in stock. The staff there was very helpful and just a pleasure to deal with. I called before I went and the gentleman assured me they had plenty. When I arrived they actually already had one at the front of the store waiting for me. I even noticed that the Manager was actually in the front of the store overseeing and answering anyone's questions that people including myself had. I have to say in todays world that was such a pleasant experience. I should have got thier names but today is 6/25/20 and I was there at aprox so I hope they know who they are. And I hope that corporate brings this review to thier...
