Bridgeport’s Beardsley Park is designed for kids ages 0-12 of all abilities. Our kids liked the play equipment, but were especially excited at the idea of a summer splash pad. #inclusiveplayground #boundlessplayground #inclusivedesign #connecticut #ctplayground #playground #bridgeportct #beardsleypark #ctfamilyfun #ctkids #ctfamilies

I grew up spending a lot of time at Beardsley Park...swimming, playing tennis, playing baseball, sled riding in the winter, going to the zoo, visiting the haunted house and Christmas village as well as riding my bike. Very happy memories! After visiting the park after 25 years there are things I like and some not so much...I wish the tennis courts were still there, there is a road closed that takes you to the end of the park that should be opened, port a potties would be nice, food trucks would be great. I do like the addition of playgrounds, picnic tables, bigger sidewalks and the swans, ducks and geese that hang out.

Like going here on nice days with the kids but going alone for a walk and fresh air is needed too. Bunnell pond is full of ducks, swans, geese. They stock the water with fish once a year for fishing (I think trout). There's playgrounds, splash park, baseball fields, small waterfall, picnic area, walking paths, and benches throughout to sit and listen to the birds.

It was 2 expensive to even go here Smh . I'm from our of State, so it cost $10 more than a City resident . It would be between $25 to $30 🤷🏻‍♀️💭🤔📣idts. 👀 Unbelievable .. I am from Bpt CT( born and raised), but apparently that don't matter. No deals . It was much cheaper to go fishing with the out of state resident license my bf purchased for 3 days only $8 . So I enjoyed watching him fish and then throw them back into the water 💦😁 he only fishes for sport .. No restrooms anywhere at the entrance or by that area at all . It's a park for crying out 📢 loud children constantly use the restrooms not to mention...
