Five Below — Local services in Bridgewater

Personally I do not like this five below. When I walked in I was greeted nicely. Me and my friend came here to get Christmas gifts. My friend wasn’t sure if she wanted to get most of the stuff she had in her basket. we went to self check out to decide (she has really bad social anxiety) when she got up to self checkout and she was getting ready to start scanning the stuff she did want, a stuff approach her and just started self checking her stuff out with no Permission from her. He scanned the stuff that she still dident decide if she wanted to get. She was too nervous to say anything. After he was don’t ringing her stuff up the total was 80$ when she dident plan on getting half the stuff that was in her basket becyshe was still deciding if she should get it or not...we felt really rushed even thought it was a self check out. And that’s why we went to it so we wouldn’t feel rushed. Personally i find no reason for this when I litterly could have went to the check out that a staff was working at. This past weekend I had the best experience of my life at a Five Below. The staff was so welcoming and friendly. They assisted me with looking for the items I needed for my daughters birthday party, checked the back room for anything that may have been out of stock, with some items being found! Whatever was not found the associate was able to find another location nearby that had it in stock, or where in the area may have it. The same associate greeted me at checkout and happily inflated just under a dozen balloons for us. She even asked us how we wanted to personalize our display and layered the balloons so we would have less work at our party. I've been to this location previously but mostly kept to myself, and have never experienced the horror stories that other reviews are leaving. It makes me think they must be guilty of some of the things they're being accused of and mad they got caught. This is my favorite location and none of your bad reviews will ever make me think...

Items were in good selection and got expensive since i last visited. Gave it 1 star because I had to have an employee at SELF checkout scan all of my 20+ items which was embarrassing and made me feel uncomfortable, according to my sister who also went in she was given the option to scan her own items. No location I've gone to in the past has made an employee scan my items at self checkout, this location is sexist and treats any male that walks through the door...
