Subway — Restaurant in Bridgewater

Had a coupon and figured me and a bud we go and get the 2 footlongs for 12 bucks. We both got the bread is great and warm most of the meats and cheese was right there. The kid making sandwhiches did correctly as i asked for very lightly toasted. Had sides tomatoes and black olives put on and confirmed asked if i wanted anything else. My friend got his and had it customized his way. They did except coupon and charged extra 2 dollars said misc. When i asked about it they said it was a charge for to go and custom orders. Nothing was mentioned about the custom orders being charged. Did not get extra cheese or meats just the regular. Did not get any sauce or anything on it. No clear answer i just said forget it paid and left. Unfortunately i no longer have the receipt but it was just the way it came and warmed with tomato black olives and lettus. I think he got onions and a honey mustard to go on his. So no idea why was charged extra money besides tax and local tax. Was not right and felt like it was a charge for something that did not exist. Haven't been to this location in years until this past summer. The place is very well lit and clean under new ownership, as well as a very friendly atmosphere. The owners remember our orders from earlier in July and did a great job in preparing our sandwiches the way we like it! The presentation of my Veggie Delite sandwich was pleasantly appealing with an array of colorful, fresh and mouth-watering vegetables, as well as creamy avocado. My husband's sandwich was packed full of tender chicken and hardy vegetables topped with a tasty barbecue sauce. The two courteous employees who prepared our food were very friendly, yet professional. Not sure how this sandwich tastes like rubber and is tough to chew the mozzarella, which is yucky. It tastes like plastic as well. Asked for the bread to be toasted, wasn't. Bacon, limp and gooey with the fatty parts. Cold sandwich that should have been hot and had some taste like actual food. Instead, this floppy, disgusting, and hard to chew sub is going right in the trash. What a waste of $12. Go back to $5 footlongs. At least those were edible.
