This is the first time I've ever had to write a bad review. I walked eighteen blocks to go to this store because the website said it was open until ten p.m. I finally get there only to find the owner closing up shop at seven. He tells me I can take a look around quick, but that's a lie, because I'm supposed to immediately know what I want and get out. Very rude and disrespectful to someone who was willing to walk so far to buy merchandise. I asked the owner why the website says the store is open until ten, then. His ever so helpful reply: "I have nothing to do with that." You run the store, dude. You can't tell me you have no control over something like that. I had bad experiences there last year as well (being told to hurry up constantly), but I figured the pandemic may have had something to do with it and let the behavior slide. Now I know better. The owner is just asinine. I'm never returning...

What followed was a string of insults, his lamentations re: his failing business, and an exclamation of "am I supposed to pull it out of the F'ing sky." No, you just need to learn some manners. Something tells me you'll continue to have the same bad attitude wherever you end up, which I'm sure will...

I walked into the only shop in Brigantine that sells beachy nicnacks thinking I would buy some souvenirs for friends and family. Immediately you see items stacked and scattered on the floor, making it almost impossible not to trip over if you wanted to buy anything on the shelves. I was then greeted by a man who started yelling at me for taking a photo of a sign that he had in his shop; adding how he "doesn't go around other people's houses taking pictures of their belongings." I didn't have time to apologize before he attacked my behavior. Honestly, I didn't realize you weren't allowed to pull your phone out to appreciate art work. Never coming here again. If I could give negative...
