We spent 10 minutes waiting on cashier to count out their till as she was preparing for shift change we were not greeted by the other attendant, which she could have been getting shoe sizes for us and the other several people waiting in line! There was only two of us that we're going to bowl. The lane was down/not working when we got to it so we waites again for maintenance to reset it. We bowled one ball and the lane broke down again! We spoke with the attendant who said there weren't any more lanes because they were all broken. (There were only 4 out of the 18 working!) I'm using the term working VERY LOOSELY!!! Another family left from lane 16 and I asked for my daughter and I to move over to it. The attendant actually rolled her eyes at one point. Mind you, we had been there over 45 minutes and rolled one ball! After being moved to lane 16, the pin setter automatically knocked down at least 5 pins. We tried to make the best of it anyway. Purchased some food and tried to settle in. we were so disgusted with the lane being broken, pins not setting, and having to wait on staff to "fix" the problems. It was absolutely ridiculous. We asked for our money back after being there more than an hour and twenty minutes and playing only four frames. They refused to give out money back, offered no apology, but gave us a coupon for "free" games. After the incredible waste of our time, all of the hassle of waiting on attendants, then being asked to wait for a manager or come back when manager came in to work...this was more of a theft on their part. Taking out money knowing their equipment isn't working (waiting on parts). The coupon will be good for NOTHING! SO AO DISGUSTED BY THIS...
Read moreThe bowling alley is fine if going with a small group/family; however, bday parties at the center are different. A parent wants to have a stress free or less-stress party when holding a party at a business. I’m afraid this doesn’t happen at the Fun Center anymore.
I used to love having my kids’ parties there. I was told the lady who used to help customers with parties at the Fun Center no longer works there. She is sorely missed.
For my son’s party, the pizza took an extremely long time to come out and when it did, the pizza was doughy. Party guests had to wait a very long time for food. Staff blamed a faulty oven. The person who was supposed to be my party host did not help in terms of checking in with us.
I didn’t write a review then but felt I had to do so now. I came back for another party for another child (not mine) three months later and same issues were still present. Staff seemed nice but if you’re wanting to plan a stress free birthday party, you may need to check elsewhere or be extra diligent in making sure/reminding the center of party details and be prepared to stay calm with glitches.
Ultimately, a fun place for friend or family fun but not so much for a...
Read moreOnly 3 lanes were working out of 18!! I feel like that bears repeating. 18 lanes and only 3 were working. The poor employees. They said the owner doesn’t want to pay for repairs to the machines. When we finally got a lane, the bowling balls kept getting stuck. We had to ask them to help us get them unstuck over 11 times during our ONE round of bowling for 4 people. The entire establishment is in a decrepit state. Lights burned out all over the place, literally every single ceiling fan had lights in it that weren’t working. The black lights were burned out everywhere. Rickety tables and chairs. The “disco lights” didn’t rotate, just kind of flash in your eyes since they point towards the beginning of the lane. The lights along the vaulted ceiling you can tell are on, but almost every single one is burned out. You can see in the photos that the lights along the walls are on because a few of them are one very dimly and are flickering. Seriously, the place needs some TLC from the owner. I feel bad for the employees and anyone who spends a lot to bowl here. Don’t waste your money. Until the owner goes in and...
