Iron Gate Catering — Local services in Brigham City

I worked with Shelice for my Logan, UT wedding in June 2022. Shelice was very knowledgeable about the menu and accommodating to my requests, including picking up linen napkins and silverware the day before the wedding to be able to set the tables with them instead of having them rolled. My communication with Shelice was great, and she always returned my phone calls and emails.

My wedding guests raved about the food, and I would agree that it was delicious! I enjoyed everything that I picked for the menu (see photo), but I would make a couple swaps if I were to do it again - instead of the tossed salad, I would opt for the poppy seed salad or broccoli salad and swap the baguette bread for the rolls. And, in all honesty, I think Shelice actually recommended those swaps, but I chose to do my own thing - moral of the story, trust Shelice!

The catering staff were on time, polite, and very professional. They set up the buffet beautifully, and they were proactive keeping the food stocked and the line moving. They were even kind enough to walk around the tables collecting plates and silverware from guests as they were finishing up with dinner.

If you have the budget, I would recommend upgrading to the palm leaf plates or china plates, real silverware, and linen napkins (see picture). We opted to keep plastic cups as our dinner was hosted outside, but they do offer glassware too. All of these options (and more) are available through Iron Gate.

They have an intake form on their website which only requires contact information, location of event, date and time of event, and an estimated guest count to start a conversation. If you are unsure of your guest count, list the highest possible count as this can be changed up to 2 weeks before the date of the event. If you are clueless as what you want to order, Shelice is great at putting together a menu based on a given budget.

Overall, if you are looking for a catering company for your wedding, company dinner, or even family reunion, most definitely give Iron Gate...

Iron Gate has a beautiful set up and flow to their operation- our recent visit to a Bear Lake air bnb was catered for breakfast by Iron Gate- they offered excellent fruit tray- orange juice, bacon, sausage -very good. However, the potatoes cubed- they tasted cardboard hash browns lacked luster I’m a hash brown fan looking forward to them- very disappointing - We have family who do catering and were quite surprised that the omelette and scrambled eggs were done with egg carton type eggs - when ordering and finalizing your breakfast I would ask for non-boxed liquid eggs and prefer the real- crack open and stir together eggs-...

What a wonderful yummy luncheon for my son's wedding on Wednesday May 22. My son and fiance picked out the menu. We had coconut chicken with garlic mashed potatoes, carrots, green salad and the best chocolate cake for dessert. The staff that served us was very professional and kind. They cleared our guests plates and then boxes up the remaining food in our containers I provided. They cleaned up the lunch mess and went on there way.
