Landlord was cocky and rude. She along with another guy, I assumed was her husband did not work with me at all when trying to rent an apartment, even after I explained my situation of being a single mother with 2 school aged kids. She had the for rent sign out but wouldn’t answer her phone and when she did, she was short answered, no extra words for a description or deposits or anything. So I filled out an application and went to turn it in, she smuggly told me she already rented it to someone else. Even though I was working with her in the previous days. Her husband was there being cocky and they both looked like they were trying not to laugh. The Mountain View apartments are by far THE WORST place to live in all of Utah. Not only are the apartments worse than inner city NY section 8 housing, but the worst part is the "landlord". Extending bills illegally based on tenants "destroying" property that was previously damaged and reported upon move-in inspection. Then when ignored, leaves you alone. The only reason the "landlord" has a job there is because her father owns the property. I was not the only aggravated tenant I met during the 3 months of time wasted living there. I Absolutely loved and miss living in the Mountain View Apartments. I moved in as a young new single mom. It was clean, quiet, spacious and my Daughter and I made so many fun memories here for over 5 years. The Landlord Cindy is amazing, kind, and understanding. She always was a joy to work or just talk to she was so sweet to my daughter and hung my little girls art in her office. If there was ever an issue with the apartment she was quick to fix it with no questions asked. I always felt safe and taken care of by neighbor's and Landlord alike! Great...
