OAK VILLAGE CROSSING — Local services in Brockton

Don't take this rating the wrong way, because the shops in this Plaza are great-all have great customer care, service & shopping. This Plaza PROPERTY gets a one-star rating because the owner willfully neglects the property itself. The parking lot is BEYOND neglected and it's always full of trash. I've lived in Brockton 16 yrs now and it's always been like that and because of the poor neglect of the property some perk resident has been dumping a bag of garbage in the middle of oak street on a weekly basis for the last year. The rest of this corner of Brockton has made major improvements to our community, but this owner refuses to progress. Instead, he simply refuses to do anything to it. I'm honestly quite shocked the city hasn't condemned it because the building itself is quite obviously in dire need of repair, broken windows that never get fixed, busted water drainage, etc. I did notice in the last few months a crew came in to patch a small portion of sidewalk in front of the end closest to the post Office and I was shocked to see a young man today going around picking up trash, but the owner needs to know that these changes are not remotely enough to make an impact. Firstly, the parking lot is the worst. FULL OF EXTREMELY LARGE POTHOLES AND UNLEVEL, this causes surface laking to form with rain. At the rates that are being charged for rent on average, there is no excuse for the continued blatant disrespect of our community. You are the only property here in our corner of town left with a trashy property and you can see for example that your property devalues our community with the jerk who dumps trash in the street right there weekly. I've tried reaching out by Googling the info on this owner and contacting them through the info provided, but to no avail. I have acquired the owner's direct contact info via city hall records and plan to discuss these issues with him directly, but I warn that if my attempts to reach you continue to go unsuccessful, I will be reaching out to city hall directly to file complaints and discuss with about Brockton resident rights regarding post your property's story and owner's contact info on as many social media platforms as I can, complete...
